Great area to walk around
Aug 2021
The are is a great place just to walk around or maybe let the kids play on the equipment. You can walk along the creek or just walk and see the steam trains running by. Parking is a bit limited but with a bit of thought you can get parked.

Lovely walk
Jun 2020 • Couples
Visited here recently with my partner. There are various trails to walk around, a lake, sculptures dotted around, play area for kids etc. Very nice place and if you walk away from the main area of the park (where lots of people have picnics and play ball games) it is a lot less crowded

Too many dogs
Jun 2020 • Solo
Pleasant enough park apart from the many dogs some of which are running out of control. Very aggressive owners.
Their should be signs making it clear that owners who fail to control their dogs are breaking the law and that the park is not for the exclusive use of dogs.

Great Family time spent Tree Planting
Feb 2020 • Family
Having seen a tree planting event on social media i decided it would be a good way of entertaining my grandchildren for a while.
What a lovely time was had by all ! Children could dig their own holes or use the ones dug by the park rangers, plant their trees and then fill in . This was a very well planned free event and we will return to see how are trees are growing.

Great dog walk with family or solo as offers play area at start in Kemsley park for call play & slides climbing further into park at church end plus throughout carved lugs of interest for photos climbing. Park maintained well with cleared paths bakk OK an Ed with country park freedom of wildness flowers and reeds. Dogs love to run free entrance & paths big enough for my mobility scooter & various routes to take towards exit at green porch or creek end yesterday it was green porch which preferred option with dog & kids as lawned area for ball play. Excellent local facility in walking distance which also has arranged activities for kids during celebrations & holidays as well as weekly club meetings for bir wildlife sporting a and exercise. .

Pleasant park
May 2019 • Family
This is where they hold the Saturday morning park runs, therefore the tracks are well marked out, and ideal for walking at other times. Plenty of space for ball games and picnics. There is a play area with climbing ropes and a large tunnelled slide. I would prefer it if the sand pit was fenced off as it is an attraction for dogs, and I wasn't too keen for my toddler grandson to play in it. There is a walking group which meets here on a Wednesday morning, and other activities as stated on the notice board. The parking is limited (next to church, so busy on Sundays). There was another entrance but it had to be closed off due to travellers, which is a shame.

Regular Dog Walking Venue
Apr 2019 • Family
This would be better if they could have a cafe facility there and if the local kids would appreciate what they have on their doorstep rather than trying to destroy it.
