This was a really interesting trip for people who have lived in this part of Kent all their lives but have never known what they have under their noses! Captain Colin is a mine of information on the history of the river and the wild life! If you think there may be little chance of seeing the seals or maybe... More

We did the Seal watching tour in July 2016 and found Captain Colin's knowledgeable commentary made the trip very interesting. Although we are local to the area, he told us a lot about the history that we did not know before. We also saw a lot of seals. Highly recommended.

I found the details online and phoned to book our trip; Captain Colin answered the phone immediately and booked us in for the following week; all we had to do was turn up at the right time. The boat holds 12 passengers. It was a really interesting trip, past the marina and then what was Pfizers, so quite industrial in... More

We phoned the number and texted as instructed on the notice at the boat and waited but no response. A shame as we really wanted to do a tour.

Captain Colin is a gem, so knowledgeable, really enjoyed his commentary. The deal is that if you don't see any seals, you don't pay, but we saw plenty at Peggwell Bay. Got close enough to get some good photos. Dress warm as it gets cold on the river

The weather was blustery, but Captain Colin did his best to keep spirits up. We saw a whole host of seals, along with other wildlife along the way. Captain Colin is Fascinating! He knows so much about the local area. Definitely on our list for next year (here's hoping the weather is nicer).

Captain Colin makes a splendid host aboard the Heron, with a great commentary. He is very knowledgeable about the local history of the Stour and the Medway. We took the two hour trip to see the seals, which takes you through both open country and industrial landscapes into the estuary. Plenty of rare birds to look at along the way.... More

Due to the tides, this was a late afternoon trip. We saw several seals both in and out of the water and close enough to get some raally good pictures with a good compact camera. Really enjoyed by all of us. Would fully reccomend but call to confirm times before you visit.

What a great trip. Two hours out to Pegwell Bay and back. Saw loads and loads of seals close up, some swimming and some on land. Lovely boat trip. If you don't see any seals you do not have to pay for the trip! Very informative with regard to local river history and nearby places of interest. Boat very comfortable.... More

Never really knew what to expect from this trip. The weather wasn't so great and our young children weren't so happy at first to be out on a boat in the rain... but, it was a huge success !!! Our captain enlightened us with all sorts on information about the Port of Sandwich while on our way out to the... More
