Staying in Margate with 12 friends for Soundcrash at Dreamland. This was the only place that could accommodate us all. We had such a fun night. Great people and good food. Definitely going back when next in Margate.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, lovely staff, good atmosphere. Have the beef! Would definitely recommend a leisurely sunday afternoon here. You need to book to avoid disappointment.

I call in when visiting the Theatre Royal next door. Last night was especially good - a customer who was in front of me wanted me to go before him because he still had some beer in his glass and I was empty handed. This sums up the clientelle entirely. A very warm welcome and the staff suitably jocular, efficient and friendly. Plainly there are a lot of regulars but they are not territorial - happy to see new faces. Sunday lunch is highly praised - will try it soon; but I cannot imagine it will be anything less than comforting and first rate. Thanks.

This was our final visiting place on a long day's drinking (mainly in micropubs in Margate & Broadstairs) based on the recommendation of our B&B. It proved to be a great example of a local 'boozer', although they do also serve good good I'm told. Good beer, very friendly staff and clientele (a common feature of the day).

Another great addition to Margate - a REAL PUB! Fantastic Decor, friendly Staff and a nice chilled atmosphere. Located ideally next to the Theatre Royal.

Many members of a local choir meet here for pre-rehearsal relaxers, and last night they were given the opportunity, en masse, to provide some Christmas entertainment for the rest of the locals. The management and the customers were welcoming, receptive, and generous in their donations to the charity bucket. It made it all feel like a real old-fashioned local pub with its excellent selection of off-the-beaten-track ales and its open fire.

This was off the main stretch and at first i wasnt sure but inside its a delight. There was a lovely fire and a great selection of alcohol. Id highly recommend

Four of us went on a jollyboys outing to Broadstairs and Margate. Discovered this little gem in the process. All the beers and ciders are outstanding, really relaxed atmosphere, along with great landlord and staff. Best full sized pub in Margate. A 'must visit' bar. Ten out of ten.
