We often walk into Margate and call into this pub for a drink. The prices are good also the choice of beers is excellent with regular changes of beers and ciders . We have sat inside but love sitting outside enjoying the sun and sea air, the owners are very good and make you feel welcome .

Beer and company - properly brewed beer and great chat, what more could anyone ask for. Some proper and traditional cask beer (and cider) served by a knowledgeable team and with a smile.

Everyone is made to feel welcome, like a local. Seating is limited by social distancing but we were lucky enough to be rewarded with an inside seat after perching ourselves outside for a short time.

The beer is fresh, kept well and comes in huge varieties. The couple that run the place, know their stuff and their descriptions of the beer are spot on,.

Please do visit, I know we will when we get back, worth a stop even if perched outside

We visited over a year ago for the first time. We return just after lockdown to find this bar still alive and kicking. Great beer served perfectly, great banter with friendly locals - all served by a great host. All the social distancing and covid secure arrangements you could want.

Has a great view of the beach, we will be back

This is one of our favourite micro pubs in the town . We often walk into town for exercise or shopping and normally stop off for a drink . We love the selection of ales they serve and the ladies drinks . Prices are good and Shaun and his staff are very welcoming and friendly

Friendly and quick service, good range of beers, ciders and gins. Perfect for takeaway onto the beach. it is a micro pub so limited seating but plenty on the steps on the beachfront if warm!

A good variety of well-kept beer. The landlord and landlady are friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. The overall atmosphere in the pub is relaxed, engaging and friendly. I found the background music a little distracting, but that's my only criticism.

Nice selection of real ales , which you can test before you order . Bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Small cosy pub , well worth a visit if you are in Margate old town and like decent beer .

This place just ticks every box. Great beers, super service, well priced, lovely views to the sea and just so friendly. Decent selection of wines and gins too.

The test is always will we come back?....100% when we are next in Margate we'll be here...

Visited this micro pub recently. It is a little out of the mould for a micro pub with its contemporary look but I have to say it is really nice. The view is super and a visit at sunset is a must to savour with a beer. I like my beer and the only downer was that all the beers on offer were in the 4% abv range. Would be nice to see a weaker 'session ale' and something a little meaty to top and tail a visit. May have just caught the board wrong on my visit. All things considered a lovely establishment and I wish 'Harry Rednapp' all the best for the future.

Two months into its existence and the Two Halves goes from strength to strength enhancing the reputation of Margate/Thanet as the micropub capital of Britain. If you are a visitor to the town or a local yet to enjoy a great pint, a friendly atmosphere and stunning views why not pop along. You definitely will not be disappointed.
