yearly treat
Aug 2017 • Family
My 3 kids and I have been coming here every summer holiday for years now. It is a charming establishment; the staff are really accommodating, friendly and helpful. There is a wide range of bisque items to paint to suit all ages and abilities. A lovely atmosphere, very relaxing. we usually spend approximately 3hrs here but that obviously depends on the item you are painting. A big thumbs up from myself and my kids.

Toddler sessions
Mar 2017 • Family
We come to the toddler sessions and my 2.5yr old loves it. He gets to make things with clay, paint the things he made the previous week, do a craft activity then have snack, story and singing. Theresa that runs it is great with the children and they have real pride in taking home the finished articles.

GREAT FOR ALL AGES
May 2016 • Family
Having booked in advance (7 children and 8 adults) and never visited before, we were extremely impressed. Our tables had been reserved and all the supplies were laid out awaiting our arrival. Although the adults did not partake in the painting sessions, the children had a ball! A lovely member of staff explained to the children what was involved and the kids were then given the opportunity to choose which piece of china they wanted to paint. There was an extensive range to choose from on shelves just inside the shop, at very affordable prices. Needless to say all of the kids chose some kind of animal - frog, dog, teddy bear etc. They were all given aprons to protect their clothing and then left to their own devices. They loved it although we have never seen a purple frog with orange spots before! It's a great place for all ages. There was a group of ladies on an adjacent table who were producing the most amazing items, beautifully painted. There is a small area where you can purchase drinks at reasonable prices. The staff were great in spite of the noise our group was making. The finished items stay at the shop for a week as they are fired in a kiln. We were there for around 90 minutes but the time flew. It was a great experience for us all and something different for what is basically a seaside town. I would encourage you to visit and have a go, no matter what your age.
