Drop in here to garner information about Thanet' s many attractions and things to do. A building that enjoys an unrivalled position on the stone pier (harbour arm)and has its own interesting history as one of the oldest buildings in Margate.Wonderful views across the bay of Margate' s .' Golden Mile'.

Visited yesterday. The lady was friendly and helpful. The building is a replica of the original so is nice to approach. It is adjacent to The Turner Contemporary.

The Droit House is now the main tourist information office on the harbour arm. Behind this used to be the entrance to the Jetty or pier. As well as lots of useful information and maps, they also sell souvenirs, tickets and postcards. Very helpful too!

This lovely old, historic, white building has been tidied up recently. It is located at the entrance to the harbor arm and thus next to the Turner place. Inside is a well-stocked Tourist Information office which has many free brochures of local and not so local places to visit and nick-nacks to buy too. This has smartened up the immediate... More

An interesting building to visit, full of history. Over the top there is an artwork from Tracey Emin.

I was wondering where I could put a remark about this, and I've found the ideal place! Friendly staff, lots of useful info on local and nearby sights and sites. The usual seaside stuff alongside lovely pieces by local artists. Oh and they sell local Kentish crisps which are very good!
