Margate has a nice beach thats where it stops though. The amount of litter everwhere is just ridiculous. Also witnessed 3 drug dealers threatening to kill each other at Margate station. Not a nice day so avoid at all costs

Another beautiful day return tri
p from London St Pancras 1hr 30min and the seaside it 5-7 min walk from Margate train station. Margate is a sandy beach very nice to have picnic by the sea. Surrounded by cafes and shops.
It wasn’t too hot on our visit, mid 20s, so the beach wasn’t too busy compared to some previous reviews during the recent +30 degrees period.
