Had lunch today. Absolutely delicious food, very well cooked and presented. Generous portion size at a very reasonable price.
The experience was enhanced by friendly staff, clean washrooms and fantastic surroundings and views of golf course.
Will definitely be returning.

We were staying at Hever Castle and went here for a light lunch.
(Castle guests get 10% discount by the way).
The food was very good and both my wife and I "cleaned our plates" to coin a phrase.
Excellent service and a really idyllic location which added to our enjoyment..
Well worth trying if one is visiting The Castle.

Oh my gosh! What’s not to love … amazing breakfast, fab views, friendly staff … a real gem and we will be back often. Can recommend the full English brekkie, and also the porridge. Yum!

I’ve eaten at the golf club on many occasions having played golf, but never had breakfast, nor will ever again. Although the staff were lovely, but totally over worked due to not having enough staff on duty the breakfast was very poor and expensive. I choose items off the menu not wanting a full English breakfast. I was discussed to see that they charge £1.50 for 1 small mushroom, £1.50 for half a rasher of bacon, and £1.50 for a small hash brown. Totally over priced!

We visited the Waterside Bar and restaurant for Afternoon Tea. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The Afternoon tea was probably the best I’ve had!! It was full with sandwiches and a great selection of cakes. They accommodated my request of a plain scone. Tea refills were as we needed. Absolutely lovely and fresh food. We had a window seat of the golf course taking in some great views. Would recommend to anyone and definitely come back again!!

Went for dinner. The booking process (via email) was swift and easy. The setting was lovely - we had our starter sat outside watching the moorhens. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fairly priced and of a decent portion-size. Didn't have a chance to try the dessert but will likely be back in Hever at some point and will definitely be returning for a drink and food.

Great lunch meeting venue & fab to get some Golf ⛳ in afterwards!
Came in August to meet a work colleague, had a spot of lunch which was superb. Really nice friendly bunch of staff, who looked after us.

Went out on the course afterwards which was in great condition. Really good layout and fab greens.
First time at Hever Golf Course, but definitely not the last.

I played here a couple of weekends ago as was visiting the Castle, staying at the Castle B&B (which was amazing - see my other review) and thought I might as well have a round whilst there. I'm delighted I did and frankly a little puzzled by some of the more negative comments in some of the recent reviews.

The course itself is fairly forgiving off the tee, it's certainly not tight (with the exception of a couple of holes - the 14th has water all down the left but the right is ok. OK so not every hole is epic, the 10th is probably the weakest but some (including the 14th in particular) are truly stunning. The third is also a brilliant golf hole, beautifully presented fairway and incredibly difficult second shot to get it all the way up onto the green.

I am off 11 and a member of a links course so these sorts of inland courses will never be my favourites but it was thoroughly enjoyable, the greens were absolutely superb (and rapid, probably 11+) and the fairways were in beautiful condition. Like all clubs (except links courses which drain anyway) they have had a shocking winter so I can only imagine some of the negative feedback stems from then - whilst I was there it was hard to fault it.

The clubhouse was buzzing, didn't eat but did have a couple of pints of local ale sitting in the sun on the terrace chatting to a couple of members who were utterly charming and helped to extend my repertoire of swear words.

All in all would highly recommend it and for a keen golfer well worth filling up a day along with a visit to the castle.

Played recently as a guest at a corporate day. I was amazed at the general deterioration in the condition of the course since playing it last year.
The tees were shocking. A bog standard municipal play and play course would boast better tees. Fairways were scruffy with no graduated definition for the rough. You were either on the fairway or in a lost ball or unplayable lie situation. This is madness when you have 100 golfing visitors going through in just a few hours. Most of which are spent searching for balls a yard off the fairway.
It's a real shame because this course has some fantastic and memorable holes. Maybe there is just too much traffic going through it now but it certainly wasn't an experience to be repeated.
Lets hope they get it sorted.

Recently visited the Golf Club to try out the driving range.

My 10 year old is a aspiring golfer.

Short walk from the car park reveals a lovely outdoor deck area for food and drinks.
Beautiful landscape.

The driving range itself is very nice.
Well manicured and clean.

Very helpful distance markers and legend guide at the "T" area .
This was quite nice because it set goals for the golfer.

I witnessed a golf lesson in a sectioned off area of the range which looked quite good.

All in all, a nice experience.
We will be back for more practice and perhaps a light meal.
