A good spot to rest

After a very long walk we stopped her for a pint. There were table and chairs on the beach which was lovely to sit in the sun shine and watch the sea rolling in

Nice little walk on a fine day. You get a nice view of the sea and Herne Bay sea front. Watch out for sea gulls, when we went a mother was protecting her young, so we were dive-bombed.

A nice warm evening, quiet and full of scenic views. A nice walk with a little platform at the end ideal for pictures and staring out to sea with your thoughts. Lovely

A gentle stroll along this pier made a lovely way to pass part of a beautiful day in Herne Bay. The views are gorgeous from the end and allow you to look back on the seafront and the clock tower. A lovely detour, but not necessarily deemed as 'essential viewing'. Ting tots might need close controlling.

Nice walk around the little harbour. Has a small viewing area up some steps. Is nice to walk to the end and back on a sunny day.

You can have a nice walk with the family when the weather is nice, be careful with little ones as there are some drops past the barriers

Neptune`s Arm is just the right place to walk out on the water so to speak, on a beautiful day the view over the sea is fantastic, then you turn and look back on the town of Herne Bay, can be a little breezy!!

A part of the fabric on the seafront. Providing a slipway for small boats and jet skies. The Arm is a perfect place to watch the coming and goings and offers a wider viewpoint out into the Channel..

Neptune's arm is the sea wall that protects the bandstand/ beach on the Herne Bay front - it has seasonal astounding uses (such as the fireworks displays in Herne Bay carnival week when all the fireworks are launched from it to the delight of the crowd on the main seashore) but on an average day it simply is a ten... Anything to liven up this drab seaside town is to be applauded and in 1993 this long concrete arm leading out to sea was built. The walk out to the end is about 300 metres and it affords decent views of the seafront and puts one within about 100 metres of the rather unusually shaped pier. A shame that there... More
