Its well worth a lovely stroll through the park any time of year. Interesting planting and an avenue of beautiful horse chestnut trees.

As parks go, it is difficult to fault the memorial park. We live locally and have been visiting it for over 30 years. When my children were young, we went every day. It is a good shortcut from the station to the town. Walking diagonally down from the station you go past all its attractions - rose garden, war memorial,... More

Lovely well maintained grounds. Nice rose garden memorial gardens and lovely duck (seagull! !)pond. Tennis courts for the more energetic, but in the summer, usually a tea stall! Great for footie, Frisbee and dogs!Has a loo for emergencies!,& on Sundays, is where the local car boot can be found

We enjoyed an ice cream say here on 15/08/16. It was nice to listen to recordings about the war but it was a little loud at times. A nice place to visit whilst in Folkstone.

This is a really lovely park. Somewhere to relax let the kids runabout or watch either the ducks on the pond or even sometimes watch the model boats mostly found there on Sundays

I've visited this park all my life since I was a toddler on family holidays to my great aunt's house to the present day when I'm an occasional day tripper and I love it as much now as I always have. It's got something for everybody from the children's playground to the beautifully kept memorial garden to tennis courts, boating... More
