About Headcorn Aerodrome Pleasure Flights
Whether as a gift for a friend or relative or as an introduction to flying, the first step to take is to arrange a trial flying lesson. This involves a thorough briefing by the instructor followed by the flight, during which you will be given as much time at the controls as possible. The instructor will carry out the take-off and will then demonstrate the effects of controls on the aircraft, involving turning as well as climbing and descending. Following this you will be given control of the aircraft and will be flying until the end of the allocated time when the instructor will land the plane. If you decide to proceed with your private pilots licence this time will count towards your required flying hours.

Spitfires doing flights but they are not always there. 6 adults and 3 children had a great half day for only £4 to park 2 cars. Had a private aerobatic display on the day. Light planes, sky divers & helicopter. Café food was good & hot. Toilets clean. Yes buildings are tatty but it is an old small airport run on a budget. Superb value for money.

We had a fantastic flight. The pilot was brilliant, very friendly and very informative. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. My dad is 86, has 2 walking sticks only one eye that works and poor hearing but he managed to get himself into the plane and actually flew the plane for a short while. He absolutely loved the whole experience and may well book to do it again!

Visited today as paid for a surprise skydive for my other half. The whole place is so disorganised, you are unsure where to go and then the staff are abrupt and miserable. This was meant to be an amazing experience. Apart from the instructor that jumped with my other half (soapy) he was brilliant and so friendly. But other than that all miserable, unfriendly and abrupt. I won't be booking anything with them again sadly. Too much money for a disappointing experience.

Booked a test flight as a surprise for my sons 21st. 4 hours before flight was contacted bu Julie to cancel due to plane issues. On further discussions they were is was ecplained that they were aware for 3 days that there was an issues with the plane, but didnt warn us that there could be a problem. Called today for a refund as agreed and was confronted by a sullen Julie who asked if we would like to rebook obviously i had just confirmed refund the day before. I was calm no complaint just acceptance. But there was no apology for the failed surprised and Julie really didnt care about the disappountment. Julie needs some training....
