A lovely church in a lovely, peaceful setting
Nov 2019
Building on this lovely church in a lovely, peaceful setting began in the 13th century and continued during the 14th century (the nave) and the 15th century (the tower and south aisle). The octagonal font is 15th century. If you are in Headcorn, you should include a walk down to this church, the lively hub of the community which even has an active bell ringing group.

A really nice authentic Norman Church. If you like traditional churches this one should be on your list. A lady vicar who has a great sense of humour. August found the church at its best with the grounds a rich green. Beautiful chiming bells.

Visit to Headcorn
Aug 2018 • Couples
Headcorn is such a lovely place and has a wonderful church that is open to visitors. We were luck to have someone connected to the church talk to us on our arrival and they were very interesting to listen to. After the church we had a walk through Headcorn and there are some very interesting shops in the High Street. Not complaining but on the day we went it was sadly raining but this did not spoil our enjoyment of this lovely place.

Chasing family history

What a nice church in a very nice town with what appears a very active community.
It was a pleasure to visit this church as from what I can tell this is were many of my ancestors worshiped. Being from the Borden family line. My ancestors left for America in 1638 on my Granny's side. It was nice to see the childrens area in the back of the church. The stain glass was beautiful. Walking through the cemetery I don't know thought it was some place special. Most of the stones have been there many a year and the names and dates have long removed away by the elements.
I'm sure if I had come during the week there might of been some one available to show me the locations of family members buried on the site.
Thank you to the good people of Headcorn for taking such good care of this place in time.
I wished I was able to of showed up in time for Sunday service.
Thank you
Gene
