Micro brewery with cafe

This is a little gem. The beer is excellent. The cafe next door provides basic food. The IPA is very good. I had an all day breakfast from the cafe next door and it was very good value for money.

Heard it was the place to go
Jul 2018 • Friends
Heard that this was the place to go for real ales and sure enough it was.
Went with my son in law from Australia who loves his cask beers.
Had taken him to some local pubs previously and he was so disappointed with the standard of the beers that he had almost given up.
SO DIFFERANT at past and present lovely sensible relaxed atmosphere and the beers he tried he thought he had died and gone to heaven.
The owners couldn’t have been more abliging that is the way to run a pub.
Well done
Will defo be going back

Nice find
Apr 2018 • Friends
1st of all I am not a real ale drinker. I find the talk of real ale boring. But my Brother-in-law is. while looking for a place for a pint we dropped on this place and what a find it was. My brother-in-law ad a couple of pints of Millers ( which was apt as we were in Gillingham to watch Rotherham United ( The Merry Millers). Now I was at a total loss so I tried Blackcurrant Cider which was fairly nice. I then tried Rhubarb Cider this was amazing I just wished we could have stayed longer.

Can I just say Marcus, The lady serving, The bloke taking the micky out of our Yorkshire accents, even though he was the one wearing the flat cap lol, And the rest of the clientele made us feel most welcome.

If we get to play Gillingham again this will be my first port of call.

A great little pub, friendly, mind blowing selection of ciders could have had more ales on.
Best pub I've visited in Gillingham by far and will pop in whenever I'm about.

Great micropub that is an oasis in the centre of Gillingham. Great selection of ales and ciders and the list is always changing. Amazingly friendly atmosphere.

Cracking place
Feb 2017 • Solo
Wandered into this place on my own on a rainy Wednesday night. I was greeted first by a couple of regulars with recommendations for beer. Then the really friendly landlady appeared and took my order. The ale was excellent, really small place with only a few seats which made it quite intimate. Thankfully the locals were more than friendly. Had a very pleasant hour and two really good week kept ales.
