Visited this park today, for the first time, to give my dog a place to run. Parking was terrible, all the spaces were full which seemed strange for a 11am on a school day. Went around about 6 times before I saw a couple leaving. Great, I put my hazards on, moved forward and to the side to allow them... More

Brought my children in the holidays and they had great fun. Over the last few years there's been lots of modifications and improvements to the play area. The toilets could do with some improvements tho! Lovely walk around, but some inconsiderate dog owners leaving dog mess everywhere!

The park is in a beautiful area by the Medway Estuary which includes salt marsh, mud flats and reed beds. There are walking paths all around which most were suitable if you have a stroller. Along the paths you can see a few old wrecked boats which my sons were fascinated by, lol, and also there are a number of... More

Often use this country park for dog walking, lovely views over the estuary and paths and walkways well maintained. The dog loves being able to run free when out on the pathways, as long as there are not too many other dogs around of course! Cafe next to car park and play area and we found the coffee good the... Children first netted the water for water bugs which were then identified by the ranger. After a while he then took them to a nearby field which was not generally used where he showed them various bugs in glass jars and told them what to look for. Then they were let loose to Net butterflies, or anything else airborne, lift... More

Riverside is a lovely country walk for solo's, couples, young families and older ones too. There is a brilliant playground for the little ones, a café to grab a coffee or refreshments and a nature education centre too. Go early early if you want a quiet walk to avoid the crowds as its a very popular spot. Oh and wrap... More

We visited here for a play date with my daughter and her friends. There is a big play area for them to run about in and there are also a few short walks that are easy to do on the same day. They also hold an English festival which is always a good day out.

Great place for walkers, bikers and horse riders as there are bridle paths too, lovely views across the river Medway. Lots of species of birds, insects, the occasional rabbit. there is a small park with wooden climbing frames, swings, a slide for children. There is a small cafe which serves chips and burgers as well as the usual snacks, tea... More

Unless you go during the day in mid summer this place is normally very quiet and laid back, and ideal spot to just sit and watch the river life and lose yourself for half an hour. Be warned however, there is a visitors center but the toilets are often not in use, and the external door to the RADAR toilet is... More
