Ate here a while ago but have only recently thought to offer a review. It's not a family friendly pub as they advertise, seating is sporadically placed around the pub causing boozers to stand and chat right by you while you eat. Food is bad,...More

I've been visiting the Vaults for around 5 years, and have to admit I was a little taken a back by the reviews! I'm used to a great little pub, which holds a lot of community/music events, vegan/vegetarian conscious, put a lot of effort into...More

We ate here after purchasing a Groupon and OMG this is one of the worse places I have eaten. The decor is very old fashioned with 70’s carpets and there was no ambiance. There was pop music coming from the bar in addition to drum...More

Thanks for taking the time to review us. I would imagine that if your boyfriend used to come here before we took over he would find it a little dull. We are now a family friendly pub that does good food. Sort of the polar...More

Nice big garden but horribly tatty inside.Very expensive compared to other town pubs all of which offer more in the way of hospitality.Staff seemed cliquey.

What a lovely little gem of a pub. From the outside it looks like a small pub, but once inside it is huge. Good quality beer and friendly staff. Although they sell food, I did not have any on this occasion, but the food looked...More

We had just done our 7-8 mile walk. The last mile was horrendous along an extremely muddy and slippery path. So we needed a sit, a drink and a pee. Large pub with lots of sitting space and warm wood furniture
