Great Sunday Night
Sep 2021 • Solo
I had a great night last night listening to good music and Jim and his crew navigating the evening with excellent CAMRA beers.

Brilliant.

As ever, an amazing experience at a proper pub, and I'd wager, the finest freehouse in Faversham.

Covid guidelines were, as expected, meticulously adhered to at this stalwart of Alehouses.

There was something for every palate on this occasion with the usual ever changing selection of local and regional ales.

Adhering to my own drinking guidelines which are loosely based on similar CAMRA directives for the seasoned drinker. I remained in situ for my second pint and did not leave thereafter until closing time.

Conclusion: Highly Recommended, Sine Timore Aut Favore.

Visiting Faversham for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and came across this lovely little pub. Very Friendly staff and spent Friday evening sitting in the garden in the sunshine listening to a live band.....perfect. Would highly recommend and will be going back, very soon

Log Fire, Real Ale, proper Hospitality
Mar 2020
Enjoyed a couple of exceptional pints of real ale in The Elephant today. As usual it proves a great place to chill and relax. Real fire, real ale, real landlord, real staff, real customers, real good. Well done Jim, been vising for 12 years now, and it is blissfullly consistent.

Lovely pub!
Dec 2019 • Family
This pub has set itself in a new little Sunday tradition for my husband and I, and our two children. After an indulgent trip to Macknades we pop into the Elephant for a curious brew. The bar staff are all so lovely, the garden in the summer is beautiful and well kept, the kids lobe the frog pond! And in the winter the bar is warm the beer tasty and the locals friendly! It’s a beautiful quirky little pub that will make you smile! ❤️

Always a wide range of ales which are changed all the time

As you drive into Faversham down the Mall, on the right is The Elephant.

A pub of much repute with Jim the landlord, always helpful when making choices and I have seen on many occasion giving thirsty clientele a sample.

Literally 1 minute walk from Faversham train station if you head top road (London Road).

Great pub
Aug 2019
A great old traditional pub situated close to the town centre and railway station. “Jim” the landlord. Runs a nice friendly trouble free pub. Old style. With various ales and drinks. Comfortable seating with a log fire in winter and now air con in summer. Love it.
