Cute little cinema

Brilliant place , screen is good , the tickets are a resonable price and the snacks are tastey and cheap.

The Royal cinema is small and has only one screen but it is a lovely old cinema and very reasonably priced (£5 for everyone). Very centrally placed, easy to walk to. Shows mainly children's films in the school holidays but great variety other times.

Welcome to England! For a wonderful walk through time you must step foot in to this amazing old cinema it is a piece of history in the middle of Faversham on Market Street. Old seats a genuine usher with a flashlight! We saw an amazing Helen Mirren movie The eye in the Sky. Enjoy the old feel English cinema.

Small old fashioned cinema with a variety of up-to-date films on short runs. Well worth a visit as not many of them around now and sometimes has direct links to live London plays.

A Classic Picture House. You don't see them like this anymore. This is how I remember the picture houses when I was younger. Well worth a visit my children were amazed how nice picture houses used to be.

Thank you for your lovely review, we still have a few bits to do, but we are getting there as time allows, we are a grade 2 listed building and thankfully, not much has changed in the 80 years since we were built... Hope to see you again when you are in Faversham. Peter More

I love an independent cinema set up, where I'm from there are a few lovely ones. This is another to add to the list! For a single screened venue, there are a good selection of films on show including current ones plus a selection of ones chosen by the Film Club giving a more 'higher brow' selection shown as well... Excellent value for money cinema right in the market square which does an excellent value for money film experience. No multiplex rip off here.....sweets and drinks at normal prices. Not a surly teenage usher to be seen, just pleasant, normal, helpful staff. Just emphasises what a rip off the chain cinemas are. Disadvantages are perhaps the age of the cinema... More

This is an I dependant cinema that has not changed much in time, this is what makes it so good, why travel to one of the 'Big Boxes without character' to watch a latest film. Certainly worth a visit.

Great value ticket prices and sensible sized snacks, as this is not a multiplex it only has the one screen but it's a good old fashioned big one which are getting harder to find with the rise of the multi screen outlets where the screens seem not much bigger that a large tv. Popcorn and drinks comes in human sized... More
