A great local museum and gallery centrally located in Faversham, an amazing maze to explore for any history buff. It has displays on local history, industry's and cultural displays, especially loved the interactive merchanical telephone exchange in the big shed area.

With a little time to spare, we popped into the museum and ended up spending almost two hours. There is so much to read and experience that you’d have to be very hard to please if you didn’t enjoy it. Spread across several buildings the museum explores all aspects of Faversham’s fascinating history. Well worth your time.…

What a fantastic place! My kids were kept occupied all the way through the museum. With a quiz sheet and things to do in each section. It shows the history of Faversham dating back to the 1500's but also my history (1980's) with old telephones, which the kids really enjoyed playing with. Small entrance fee but well worth it.…

This has to be one of the best small-town, volunteer-run museums ever! Lots of great exhibits, you’re even allowed to touch most of them. We thought we’d drop in for half an hour or so, ended up staying there much much longer. A little jewel.

A bit pricey - but we'll worth it (the ticket also gives unlimited access for a year). A large museum, across two floors and with outbuildings and a garden. Chook full of interesting artefacts and a few nostalgic items. Of course, there is also the history of the Faversham from the bronze era to today. Can very easily spend a few hours here. Very child friendly.…
