This is a really unusual museum of Faversham life, and is much bigger than it seems from the outside. There are a number of different rooms, some set up as shops etc and covering, between them an enormous range of historical periods. There are really interesting videos and 'hands-on' artefacts, including an old gramophone, complete with records. There is a... More

It's a tardis! So much information in there, looks tiny from the outside! Lots of interactive things to look at and what really made it was the lovely people who work there and the interesting information the guide added. Thank you!

My husband and I have just spent over two hours in the museum. It contains lots of interesting artefacts, from Henry 8th, WWII, Faversham history etc., Upstairs is really fascinating. Lots for children to do. Very glad we went. Staff are very obliging too. A lot and time and trouble has been put into this museum.

This place is amazing! It is staffed by knowledgeable volunteers, and is a treasure trove of Faversham history and heritage. Extremely good value, and very interesting. Well done!

This is an excellent museum - well displayed, lots of interactives for children, and many fine objects. The upstairs rooms are an absolute treat with room sets and a lovely row of shops with so much to see. Sadly on both my visits there have been very few visitors which is a shame, as it really deserves to be seen.... More

We decided to take a look one soggy and cold day with our 8 year daughter, and we were pleasantly surprised! This place is like a tardis. So much to see and our daughter loved learning about the history of Faversham, the Victorian kitchen, WWII, etc. My daughter was given a little quiz to complete as she went round. It... More

Interesting and eclectic collection, worth a look. Went with a 12 and 17 year old and both enjoyed it.
