Went to karaoke night there, youngish crowd, very friendly and good fun.
Decor a bit of a time warp but good to get away from the bloody grey hipster look pubs that seem compulsory every where else these days.

Great pub would highly recommend going here very nice beer garden and friendly staff. Also have live music which is advertised by the pub. The Walmer Castle is also great for night life opening till 3am on a Friday and Saturday.
