Rude staff, including the landlord/manager. Customers smoking weed in the garden and staff chose to ignore. Used to be nice!!!

One of the best pubs I've been on... and I've been in a few. Unspoilt proper pub. Great beer, super low prices, friendly locals, big garden, shed for smokers...

Situated in the historic Middle Street, the Ship Inn is a superb seaside town pub with a long history. Airy, with the windows open to the picturesque Middle Street] and spotlessly clean, the locals were most welcoming to a solo lunchtime visitor. A really good...More
