Betteshanger provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity for everyone to see how 'old energy' can be transformed into 'new energy'. It connects people with energy and energy with people. Coupled with miles of traffic free cycling, muddy mountain bike trails, a sensational events programme, woodland, grassland, marshland and wide-ranging, hands-on activities including archery, fossil hunting and den building, Betteshanger is Kent's must-visit destination.

What a great find! If it's cycling and walking in a country park with pleasant views then this is the place for you. Sensible bike hire prices, £5 for the first hour and £3 each hour thereafter, bargains! The cycle tracks are in great condition with fast Kane's for the zealous and pootle lanes for the less so. Well kept... More

We were down in the area for holiday and were persuaded by my brother in law to hire bikes. Reasonable priced hire and quite a pleasant track, but sometimes hard to find the route other than the main tarmac that was suitable for our group. Tried to pay for our parking on the way out, but it didn't recognise either... More

Thank you for taking the time to feedback after your recent visit. With regards to our parking, we are sorry to hear you experienced problems with our machines. It's a shame you didn't speak to a member of staff on site about your difficulties as we would have been able to assist you. You would have been able to pay... More

I went to this park with my children and bikes from Deal. You go from Deal to the train station and over the train bridge into suburbia and then some farmer’s fields. It is not well sign posted at all, bring a map! You end up at Colliers Gate, the rear entrance of the park. There is a map of... More

Thank you for taking the time to feedback after your recent visit to Betteshanger. As part of the wider Park developments we will be improving signage across the site. We are investing a significant amount of money in the Park over the next 12 months and we will be opening our state-of-the-art new Visitor Centre in spring 2017. We hope... More

Park was lovely for my mixed ages of children (8 months,3 years, 11 & 14). Fab cycle path that I felt safe letting the bigger kids go on while I stayed in play area with younger ones! Only issue was when purchasing hire bikes. It seemed to take all 3 members of staff to sort out each family: the family... More

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about your recent visit to Betteshanger. Safety and ensuring bike fit for all members of a group is a priority and this inevitably takes time on some occasions. Our systems are also currently very paper based and as we move into our new facilities in spring 2017 our procedures will vastly improve.... More

Bring back fowlsmead! Paying more for parking and machines no longer at the car parks! Feel very sorry for disabled no consideration for them. Play area and sitting area has been destroyed for a new building site which is Showing wedding pictures! Have supported this park since opening. A dump going down hill and not a country park any longer!

Thank you for taking the time to feedback after your recent visit to Betteshanger. As you rightly mention, we are currently operating around a building site and the location of our parking machines is not ideal (this is just a short term solution). We are investing heavily in Park improvements and our new Visitor Centre and wider Park facilities will... More

We visit weekly with our cycling club for training, events and just for family cycling or park visits and it's been great. The support from the park staff for cycling clubs has been amazing and we are so lucky to have a closed road circuit for our kids to ride, race and train on! Who knows it may produce the... More

Visited this park on the way back from Deal. It was all very vague as to where to park and if you had to pay. All we wanted to do was walk the dogs for 20 minutes, so we parked and tried to find an area that didn't look like they were filming the new Mad Max film in. Very... More

Thank you for taking the time to feedback after your recent visit to Betteshanger. Dogs are very welcome in the Park and are allowed in all areas, as long as they are kept on a lead.
