Unfortunate experience due to a lack of training and the patronising, condescending practice manager.
I called the practice to see if there was availability for the deep tissue massage for one hour for myself and my husband that I had seen on Groupon.
The receptionist that I spoke to advised me that there was only enough time for us to have half an hour each so suggested that the voucher could be split into two so that we used half an hour each of the one hour voucher.
I proceeded to purchase the voucher online after I had also received a confirmation email from the same member of staff Confirming the time date and addressed to both of us.
I then received an email the next day from the same receptionist asking for the other voucher despite telling me that I would only need to purchase one voucher and that this is something they could do. I asked to speak to the manager to see if they could honour this due to the mistake made by the member of staff and it being her own suggestion but the practice manager interrupted me at every opportunity, was very patronising and not very helpful at all refusing to honour the two massages despite it being their mistake.
I have requested a refund from Groupon for the voucher and after speaking with him on the phone I do not wish to or recommend you visit this clinic.

Back ache and terrible posture, from years of working as a driver, have been noticeably improved in the short time my husband has been going to BodyWell. We are looking forward to continuing with this great team of professional, positive, welcoming people. The holistic approach to living and health is energising and exciting. It works.

Bodywell has completely changed my perspective on how I look after myself. Ive always been a keen athlete and since my time at bodywell I’ve noticed a big increase in fitness and strength.
The staff are all very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable.

First off I want to clearly state that this is a review of two halves:
1. I attended for deep tissue massage and was super impressed with the service, friendly staff, clean setting and price structure for my treatment.
2. Having been pleased. With my own positive experience I booked my Mum in for a free family health check. I absolutely regret this now.
Scan etc cost £145, and would have cost considerably more had she been easily pressured. There was distinct pressure placed on making an immediate decision and was even told 'if you don't want to end up in home being fed etc you'll need this treatment'.
The friendly manner dimishied when it was clear that she would not be making any immediate decisions.
It is only reasonable that someone considers their options before making decisions about their health care, and in my experience businesses that are good at what they do thrive on reputation without employing such tactics.
I am not one for writing negative reviews but wouldn't want someone vulnerable to be exposed to such tactics.
I fully accept that this will disputed by the practice, but on principal I have cancelled my own membership.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback. It is imperative to understand what you mother received. She had a free consultation, examination and testing including digital nerve scans for £285. That was for free. Based on her findings, she was recommended x-rays and 3D foot scans. This was because your mum was suffering with severe and chronic problems that required deeper diagnostic exploration. We can confirm that these tests were not only necessary but revealed the cause of the problems your mum has been experiencing for over 20 years and has, unfortunately, been mismanaged by her family GP.
Therefore, I am sorry you feel hat your mum felt pressured. We simply want to make sure we provide the highest standard of care so that people like your mum, get the tests and treatment they need. Our doctors are upfront and straight to the point as they know that most people are frustrated and have experienced delays and poor service elsewhere.
We are proud that over 12,500 members at BodyWell are very satisfied with our service and trust that we provide guidance and support that is in their best interests.
We wish you well and hope that you find something more suitable for your needs and those of you mum.

I have suffered with migraines since childhood and have been seen by some of the top nhs consultants in the best hospitals they have, never though have they ever been as successful as the team at BodyWell.
To finally have a reduction in my daily migraine pattern has been life changing and uplifting.
This clinic is not a beauty massage spa, it is a seriously well intended clinic for those that need their broken bodies healed.
I can only give the highest recommendation to anyone that needs help with pain relief.

I have been receiving treatment since summer last year and have had much improvement to my posture. The staff are very thorough, friendly and very welcoming. The chiropractors are very professional and I would highly recommend to anyone. I look forward to continuing my journey with BodyWell Group and seeing the final results. Thank you so much

We can only apologise that we are very busy and available appointments for groupon vouchers go very fast. We would always recommend you reserve your appointment as soon as you make your groupon purchase as they normally give you 3 months to do so.
You are correct, there is a waiting list for groupon appointments for 1 hour, but we have made 2 half hour sessions available for those people who require additional help and have a particular concern that they would like help with. We are also able to offer appointments within 7-10 days for those.
We always priortise our members' needs first. That is because their health is our priority. If you would like priority booking service, simply speak to our team about membership. However, if you are looking for deals, we recommend you look at other centres around Kent that offer those.
You will see that BodyWell has over 12,500 satisfied members and if you would like to return at any stage, we would be very happy to help you.

I’ve been going to this clinic for just over a year. In 2008 I had major spinal surgery leaving me with metal work in my neck and very limiting movement. Because of Bodywell not only have they enabled me to live a normal life without pain, I am able to continuation work in the construction industry. I find the whole team very professional, friendly and always helpful. Whenever I have a problem, they are always there to help.

I have been receiving treatment since mid February and I can already see many health improvements. I had headaches a lot and low energy. After talking to Dr.Christian and his amazing team, I already feel way better, I can work better & my headaches are reduced to once every two weeks. They have super helpful, friendly and kind staff who are really knowledgeable. They all care about your health and help you in every possible way.

NERVE irritation definitely flattens our energy and our effectiveness with study and work.
BodyWell are proud of taking care of more than 4,000 students locally from the University of Kent and Christchurch University in Canterbury.
Horrible headaches and migraines can severely impinge upon your ability to concentrate and sleep. So, thank you Parisa for taking the time to share your BodyWell experience with others as it really provides insight into why getting your spine checked is the first choice rather than falling into the cycle of taking pain medication, which doesn't actually resolve anything.

Had an absolutely amazing massage from Jess. I've had the tightest shoulders ever since I've been working from home at my dining room table and she really worked her magic. Going again in 2 weeks time for round 2! Just make sure you get there early as the fairly small car park was rammed and caused me to run late for my appointment, but this was the only gripe I had.
