Coloured sand

Lovely sunny day with lots of colours. The sands colours looks surreal and the water falls were a nice surprise. Recommend for a walk to see the lovers stones.

My husband and I went on the Needles Breezer bus with our 2 month old and 2 year old on a very blustery day in mid September. It was one of the best things that we did on the island and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It cost £10 per adult (children free) and you could get on an off... More

The open roof top buses are a good way to explore the island. These take you around the Needles. Explore this option.

Very enjoyable and breathtaking ride up to the top and back, but perhaps a bit scary for those who might suffer from vertigo! Drivers always welcoming and friendly. Possibly a bit pricey at £5:00 return for a relativley short trip, but I think the experience justifies it.

These open top busses run twice an hour between Yarmouth and The Needles and are hop on hop off. The commentary is interesting, and best appreciated from the top deck. The group tickets give best value.

Got outside our hotel in Shanklin, direct to Yarmouth via the needles. Great way to travel seeing all the sights from the front seat of the bus, clear views over the hedges. Got a family weekly ticket for unlimited travel on any bus so great value for money, hopping on/off as you wish. Great to get off at the needles... More

Excellent trip with amazing views and a great commentary. As an OAP I only paid £5 but even at £10 it would be great value. Choose a good day so you can sit upstairs.it is worth stopping off at various places.

I did this on Friday around ryde area and then the Yarmouth on the Saturday. I really enjoyed both as you see so much doing these tours and the open top is brilliant. You do tend to play dodge the trees on the open top but it is really fun. The guild is informative and if you get off anywhere... More

Bought a rover ticket at £10 for the day to hop on and off - well worth the money - had a fabulous trip on the breezer to the Needles and then hopped off to take in the sites, hopping on again later to look at other sites. The drivers were so friendly and helpful, the commentary interesting and an... More

Perhaps one of the easier ways to travel around the whole island, rather than relying on the "normal" buses (which don't have that much of a great range) - plus it's only £10 for the day (hop on-hop off). Plus if you're interested in the IoW the audio on the bus is very informative as well. Friendly and helpful drivers.... More

Hi Nick, Thanks for the review. We think you were referring to our 'Coaster' bus when you referred to the buses not running very frequently. The 'Coaster' bus travels from Ryde to Yarmouth via the island's beautiful south coast and running up to four times a day with times arranged around the peak travelling periods. The 'Needles Breezer' runs every... More
