On the spur of the moment we decided to board the bus at The Needles. Good choice, the views around the battery are spectacular. We did the entire loop and it was worth every penny.Wonderful alternative to craning your neck in the car.

When crossing to the Isle of Wight from Lymington you arrive at the pretty but small village of Yarmouth. You can spend an interesting hour or so but it's worth venturing out to see more of the island. The needles breezer covers a short but interesting circular route to the needles and back. You can stop virtually anywhere on the... More

Brilliant way to see the needles. We got a group ticket for £25 which is for up to five people and lasts 24 hours. You can get on and off as much as you like. Wonderful way to see the views of the Needles and Alum Bay. Sit on top of the bus for an experience you'll take away with... More

Staying overnight in Lymington, but had a few hours to spare before checking in, we decided to take the ferry to Yarmouth. Off the ferry and saw the bus tour to the needles and we decided to give it a go. The initial reaction, sitting on the top deck under cover, due to threatening clouds, was a bit like those... More

We had a short break to the Isle of White and decided to explore the island by bus. We got two 48 hour Rover tickets for £30 which not only let us travel on all the buses on the Isle of White but also their excellent Island Breezers. We picked up the Needles Breezer at Yarmouth and it took us... More

What a bus ride, from the beautiful little town of Yarmouth. The view from the top of the open topped bus was fantastic. The route takes in the whole area and with an added commentary to make it more interesting for the passenger.Hop on Hop off stops made it easy to see everything. If you get a £10 rover ticket you can... I took my elderly Aunt on this trip. With the help of a very attentive driver, she managed to get upstairs. The views were worth it if not a little scary when you reach the top of the cliffs by the battery. Make sure you allow time to walk from the car park as there is no parking at the... More

We weren't considering the Needles Breezer as all the literature mentioned £10/day 24hr tickets, as we'd prefer to drive to some of the locations we ruled it out. Turns out you can just use it like a normal bus. We walked from Freshwater Bay to Yarmouth and decided on a bus back, asked the driver if we could just buy... More
