this was an incedible place to hone my golfing skills . For a few pounds a 6 week, 45 minute course was laid out to include all elements of golf with professional tutoring and much correction in my case. If that wasn't enough, there were invitations to spend time in between on the pratice putting and chiping courses.!

Great tuition

Had a couples golf lesson with Mr Daniel WEST [GC Pro] and found his manner and teaching skills were excellent AND he did sort out my golf swing too.

The Range was also in tip top condition

Highly recommended and we shall both return soon to play on the 18 hole course.

Dreadful Customer service
Mar 2018 • Couples
We were given a voucher by our children to have a golf lesson and a round which they paid over 50 pounds for, unfortunately I have had surgery on my hand and am unable to hold a club at the moment. When my wife asked if the voucher could be extended she was dealt with a brusque manner and no consideration. Shame for a small local business, but we will be going elsewhere...

All Round Excellence

This golf centre caters for everyone, great practice facilities, respected qualified teaching pros, a very good range of golf clubs, clothing and equipment. Very rarely in my experience do you find all this in one place as good. And, although I have not played it myself a nine hole golf course. Well done Westridge, I would and already have recommended you to fellow golfers, especially for tuition.

Amazing driving range, course, staff and members

What a friendly place! It reminded me of my golf club back home. The driving range is automatic so you hit one ball and another pops up, to me this was magic...easily pleased and loved it!! Course is a nine hole one which is perfect after practising on the range. Staff were super friendly and really helpful, so much so I booked a lesson with one of the pros whilst on my weeks holiday. First round I played there was a seniors comp on and couple of members invited me to play with them even though they were n a competition, nice! If I lived on the Island this would be the place I would join.

Driving Range

Great all round driving range facilities .

Wide bays are really what you want when you practice and Westridge has them. The targets are clear and plentiful across the range.

All golf clubs can be used here including the driver as its banked up at the end at 210 yards plus and unless you regularly hit over 290 yards you wont reach the top.

Friendly helpful staff and reasonable priced golf balls all in good condition too as there is nothing worse than old golf balls mixed in with new.

Most other driving ranges take your money but give you inconsistant rubbish balls which is never giving you good consistant feedback on your shots. Most ranges are a waste of time becuase of the condition of the balls.

How can you judge your set up your delivery your distance and shot shape on hitting rubbish golf balls. This place is a game improving facility.

Overall a great driving range a practice bunker and a small putting green.

The golf course here is a pleasant practice for all levels and is always in top condition with consistant greens.

I have visited about 15 times and look forward to going back for more quality practice soon.

Great lighting across the bays at night

A great place to go for golf

Keep up the good work.

Good introduction to golf

Came up here as a Father's Day present and absolutely loved it, was worried that it was going to be quite serious but it wasn't at all, there's a nice feel up there and quite chilled out, once you get passed the embarrassment of not hitting many balls you get used to it and the feeling when you make good shots is great , also fun when the tractor comes out to collect the balls it's a great moving target

Just turn up and play - simple as that

What a great relaxed place to play golf. No fussy dress codes, handicap certificates or tee times - just turn up, pay and play. What is more impressive is the condition of the greens and fairways, some of the best I've seen on a pay to play course.

The course isn't the most adventurous but interesting enough (Par 31 for 9 holes). However it made for a good couple of hours of golf and was great for kids (or high handicappers) as had quite forgiving wide fairways.

We were able to hire a half set of clubs for the kids (£7) and they paid half green fees as playing with an adult.

If all golf clubs and courses were like this then can't help but feel that more people would play golf.

Westridge Golf centre is an excellent place to start learning the game. I found the club a couple of years ago when i retired to the IOW . Looking for a new sport decided on golf. The centre staff are really friendly and helpful , the PGA pros provide excellent instuction and advice. The center shop is well stocked with everything that you could want at reasonable prices. The undercover driving range is available year round and offers good practice facilities. The course is easy walking but provides a good test none the less. The course has been improved by clearing a lot of gorse . You can just turn up payand play or join so you can play as often as you like. The members are extremely friendly and willing to let you join them if you are on your own.
