This is my third time at Drift Limits (I've driven the Ariel Atom round the track and done the Stunt Driving), both of which were amazing. This time I did the Bronze 350z drifting experience with my brother.
The drifting was absolutely amazing, and my instructor (JC) was fantastic and really knew what he was talking about, and was enthusiastic about the whole thing. He helped me get some half-decent drifts going, and I did better than I thought I would for my first attempt.
The people at Drift Limits are all really nice, but there were a few minor issues which could be improved.
We were booked in for 11:30, but there was a lot of waiting around before we actually went on our "sighting lap", and then more waiting before we did the drifting. This was partly because the drift taxi blew a tyre which needed to be fixed. It also turned out that there was only one 350z available, as the other was in the workshop. We were given the option of taking it in turns with the 350z, or one of us driving the BMW drift taxi instead (I think a 330 diesel). We had already been there for ages at that point, so we took the BMW. It was fine, but not as exciting as the 350z.
In the end, I don't think we finished much before 2pm, and it seems a bit much to be there for well over 2 hours in order to do about 20 minutes of driving.
So, all-in-all, I highly recommend Drift Limits (particularly if you can get the discounted rates for what you want to do), but you need to be prepared for some standing around.

In regards to the points of improvement we have taken this feedback on board and I must say this is not usually what happens as we pride ourselves in a slick operation.
Improvements have been made as we take all customer feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to improve our venue and experiences.

Returning to collect items id forgotten that were kept safe by the staff , I had to get another few laps of Driftlimits Supercar circuit . A good balance of safe and speed.
Instructor for the day was Paul who showed patience and continual improvement tips as we made our way round .
It worked ! as my time progressed, we got closer to the racing line and the speed increased , Paul summed it up by saying "you see the racing lines do work" .
Again from the outset you are made to feel welcome and above all safe .
From the off safety was paramount , 'let things warm up , ease into the first couple of laps and then well push on . I picked three cars that increased in power , Lotus Evora , R* and Dodge (i bite) Viper.
Paul took me through the pro's and con's of each car prior to and during the session and , when The Viper bit Paul went through the reason for ,'a little too much gas.' We pressed on , Paul talked me through the next lap preventing a repeat of the rear end becoming loose , great tuition from start to finish.
I took along my Nephew this time who due to age and only a provisional licence could enjoy the circuit from a passengers view point with Paulas his driver . i have never seen Harry so pumped and smile so much . The emphasis of encourage in a safe controlled environment has ensured Harry wants to return once he has passed his test to this time drive the cars.
It would be so easy given that these cars are at the pinnacle of performance to scare a new driver into never wanting to step foot in one again but , no not here at Driftlimits Paul made sure harry enjoyed every second .
Both Harry and I thank Paul for all he did during our experience he is in essence a great ambassador for the company as are the rest of the staff who greet you with a smile and that continues through to the moment you have to leave .
Join the Drivers Club , the discounts are well worth it .
And take a look at the various upgrades and bonus packages too all are well worth the money.
An impressive line up of vehicles well maintained and checked daily.
We will return .

I had this experience booked for me by my daughter and had to cancel x3 due to COVID and then illness. They were excellent at accommodating the changes, without charge.
We arrived this morning and at reception we were met by Markel, a very warm and welcoming guy!
We then had the necessary briefing by JC who made the presentation both interesting and humorous at the same time, but making sure safety was the key message.
I was then taken around the course as a passenger with an experienced driver who talked through the circuit for 4 laps!
Then it was my turn! I chose the Maserati, not the fastest but has a Ferrari engine! I was lucky enough to have the very experienced JC to be my instructor! What a blast…he talked me through the whole course as I drove and got faster and faster!
I paid extra for the media package, which was very good value and look forward to boring as many people as I can showing them !!
We are considering going back in the Summer for another go! Highly recommend!
One negative however, sort the toilets out…..they’re RANK! Didn’t deduct a star because the actual experience was so good!

My boyfriend was bought a voucher for the Ferrari and Lamborghini Driving Blast which he tried to redeem in April 2022. On booking he received a subsequent email stating that both the Ferrari 360 and Lamborghini Gallardo were undergoing maintenance and bookings had actually been paused. The offer was to book onto an experience with different cars or be placed on a waiting list. He opted for the latter thinking this would be perhaps a month or so, however despite multiple follow ups it was December 2022 before the Lamborghini was back in action, confirmed by an email titled “The Lamborghini Gallardo is back! WOOHOO”. He swiftly booked a slot on Saturday 21st January 2023…well that was after he was told there was a £35 supplement if he wanted to redeem the voucher on a Saturday!
We arrived for his allocated slot at 10.00am and attended the 10.15am briefing. Following that the group stood in freezing temperatures eagerly awaiting to be called for their sighting laps. After 1 hour 30minutes, my boyfriend's name was called and he jumped in the back seat of a Subaru alongside two other participants – not quite the driving experience he was expecting.
The laps were completed and we continued to wait to be called for the driving laps. It was about Midday when his name was called and he was informed that both the Ferrari and the Lamborghini had broken down in the morning sessions and were no longer available. So after 9 months of waiting the cars were actually still unavailable…understanding that these things can happen he agreed to pick two lesser cars and was told by Dan in the pits “thanks for that, it’ll be a couple of minutes”. Having seen most of the 10.00am party come and go, my boyfriend approached Dan at 12:30pm (2.5 hours after we had arrived) and asked for an update. He was met with an aggressive response which was full of untruths about how none of the 10.00am party had completed their experiences and that he had provided regular updates about delays from the outset. This was finished off by telling him it was at least one more additional hour wait time (so 3.5 hours post arrival) and if that wasn’t okay, he should go into the office and re-book.
Shocked at this response, we then headed into the office to report this behaviour in the hope of speaking to the person in charge, only to be told that Dan was the Pit Manager and was the person in charge on site.
Unable to wait for 3.5 hours, we asked for a refund only to be told that a refund wasn’t possible, only re-booking. With the staff showing no willingness to help, we had to accept that they would put a note on the system to request a refund and it would be picked up by the bookings team next week.
So we left with no driving experience, no refund, no explanation or apology for the delay, and with no feeling in our toes!
Stay well clear!!

I did the MX5 drifting and there were pros and cons of this experience. This won't apply to everyone, but think about how far you're travelling for this. It was just over two hours for me and you have very little time on track, maybe 10 minutes. Upon arrival I waited half an hour for the safety briefing, which took another half hour and was pretend by a wannabe comedian, which genuinely could have been done in 5 minutes, they're quite relaxed on safety, but not in a bad way, just everyone's an adult. They definitely then forgot about me. I waited an hour to get on track with no explanation, did 8 quick drift laps, and then bye bye. The actual drifting was great fun, but it was not worth over 2 hours of my time waiting, and a four hour rounds trip. So think carefully. Unfortunately, I just can't go again, the experience was not good enough.

Their booking system is a shambles and so is there ability to communicate.
I "provisionally" booked an experience online and had received an email from Drift Limits stating that my voucher was not valid for that particular experience to which I replied with that's fine and could the valid experience be booked in? I then didn't hear back and this was a over the weekend and the provisional booking for the "wrong invalid experience" was for Monday morning. Due to having no confirmation that the request to book in for the valid experience and my booking was still marked down as pending I had not made travel plans and taken time out of business to attend as nothing was confirmed by the company. Why would I turn up at 8am on a Monday morning, somewhere that's 40 Miles away without a confirmation email that stated the time and date of my confirmed valid experience? So after asking the company whether or not that had been approved, I heard nothing back over the weekend only to receive an email 45 minutes before my provisional booking, from their administrator that my booking is confirmed and I would have to pay a fee if I were to change it? Extremely unfair, disorganised, rude and unprofessional. There are other companies that make the booking experience efficient, practical and straight forward.

My Wife bought me the Gold Drift Experience in a Nissan 350z for my 40th birthday, it was easy to book using the voucher. I went to Drift Limits today and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, especially Orlando who was on drift instructor. He was great at giving clear instructions on what to do and not do with the car. Orlando was very patient as I had a few spins but as I got the hang of the 350z I managed to string together some side ways action which was an amazing feeling and we even managed to pop a tyre 😬 I had an awesome, fun day and would definitely do it again. Thank you 🙏

Two of us went through discounted vouchers, which is a good thing because £158 would have been an awful lot of money for a few minutes of driving. The deal was originally for 10 laps but Drift Limits reduced it to 8 laps on the basis that the track has been extended. However, we both reckoned we only had 6 laps although it's hard to count with any certainty when you're concentrating on driving. We were just starting to get good laps in when we had to come off the track. We drove the Tesla and a lot is made of its Ludicrous mode but we don't think this was ever engaged and the acceleration was nothing amazing (due to the nature of the track and experience, you never get to actually get to try out the 0-60 in a straight line, which is fair enough). It was great fun to drive the car around a track and get an idea of what it can do but it was all over a bit too soon. We waited around for nearly two hours after the briefing before actually getting to drive but they also helpfully brought forward my booking that was for a later slot so that we could go one after the other. We found the staff friendly and the coaching was good.

Relatively expensive for what you get. Most of the cars are broken making the driving experience feel clunky and unsettling.
For instance some cars have suspension issues and others gear box issues,
Some staff are friendly but others talk down to you.
You have to pay a very high excess of £4,000+ if you go off the track for any reason
Finally you share the track most of the time meaning you either waste laps waiting on a slower car or you cant make best use of the performance of the cars with fear for other drivers on the track.

Hi there,
We're sad to learn that we didn't hear from you on the day of your experience to discuss your concerns with us, some of which we are very surprised to hear of.
In terms of expense, we're exceptionally competitively priced, with driving experiences in supercars currently starting at only £29. Some items from industry standard experiences we operate are usually charged extras; we include them at absolutely no extra cost, the sighting laps and high speed passenger lap for instance.
We also don't operate cars that aren't in working order so do dispute your 'broken' comment and feedback bout suspension and gearbox issues.
Our multinational staff are also friendly and helpful, with instructions given in a friendly yet firm and safety conscious manner as reflected in many reviews.
It is entirely incorrect that customers 'have to pay a very high excess' if they do unfortunately drive off the track 'for any reason'.
If whilst driving, a customer was to damage a car, the excess is limited to this amount. If there is no damage, no charge would be made. Customers can also choose to limit their liability by purchasing a reduction option as mentioned in our safety briefing and detailed on the disclaimer form that you completed upon arrival.
It is true that other vehicles will be on track during your experience, unless you decide to pay for full private hire of the track - which is something we do also offer.
Should any customer's experience be continually affected by slow traffic, the instructors do amend and offer compensating laps wherever necessary to do so, so to ensure you get the most from your time behind the wheel.
Kind regards,

Friendly and enthusiastic staff, great track and good facilities. It's fully complient with the covid safe rules and medical grade masks can be bought at reception. A special mention to Little Tom and handy Tom, who were excellent at teaching racing lines and how to hold a drift and Dom, who's organising skills were military grade. Would not hesitate to visit this place again and I'm already planning my next driving day 😊 I've been on a couple of driving experiences and this, by far, is the best one I've been on. I would recommend taking the damage waver insurance (only £25) as, if you do have an accident, it's going to cast you a hell of a lot more.

I suggest you contact them direct, their rules are not easy to penetrate. However last time I was ther I saw a young boy, about 8 or so, enjoy an experience in a Ferrari.

I’m afraid I don’t know about passenger ride experiences, my grandson and I were on driving experience packages. I expect though that they might have to attend the safety briefing (about 20/25 minutes) before waiting to take their rides.

Hi Sharron,
Unfortunately our adult experiences do require the driver to hold a valid driving license. Our Junior experiences where a license is not required the participant is required to be under 17 years of age, sorry about that.
But as mentioned by others, if suitable for you, we are able to provide passenger experiences in all of our vehicles. If you'd like a package put together feel free to e-mail us using our contact form on our website.
Thanks
