    A fantastic high speed afternoon
I booked the ‘Tesla vs Viper’ for an afternoon of fun with my son and we got exactly that! We both really enjoyed the experience of driving two very fast cars and very much appreciated the help our instructor JC. JC’s guidance and support to encourage us to get the most out the cars was first class and really made the day - huge thanks to JC. We took the additional insurance to give us confidence to drive the cars without concerns for large repair bills if we got it badly wrong! Definitely recommend Drift Limits for high speed fun!

    Viper Vs Tesla race experience
The event was well organised, with a safety briefing at the start. The driving instructed JC was brilliant, teaching you the track and encouraging you to go faster each lap. JC also explained the cars well, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the cars, almost making me want to buy one, but. then realising I still cant afford them. The event was brilliant and would recommend!

A great experience & will be going again.
Was bought a 2 secret supercar drive by my daughter. But she didn't check the location (bless her!) so I had a 2hr drive to & from Drift Limits. Firstly, the staff are very friendly & helpful & they have a decent selection of cars. The driver briefing wasn't intense as the emphasis is on having a good time. After the briefing we were taken in the 'circuit taxi' & shown the braking points & some pointers on driving the track. Then you wait to be called by 'your' instructor. I had JC & he was fantastic! Friendly, chatty & knowledgeable. My first car was the Lotus Evora. Great fun & easy to drive close to the limit. Next I chose the TVR T400R (don't judge it on the cosmetics - its a TVR!). JC gave a few pointers cos it's a little tricky, then let me go for it. I had a massive grin the whole time & from the noises & encouragement JC was giving I think he enjoyed my drive almost as much as I did even with the headlining falling on my head each time round! I will be going again & will take my daughter so she can have some fun too. Had a great time. Thank you.

Taking our son who has physical limitations and learning difficulties for the best birthday present ever!
Took my son Ollie for his 18th birthday to have a passenger ride in 2 supercars/racecars. We are confirmed petrolheads and he is used to being driven in fast cars. However, I am not a racing driver and so the experience for him would be much more edgy. I explained before the day that Ollie had learning difficulties and physical limitations due to a brain tumour in his early childhood. He can become anxious if nervous. His only other experience was in a Jonathan Palmer 2 seater LM car at Brands and he asked the driver to slow down but this was quite a few years back. The team at Drift Limits were all really friendly and welcoming and kept him chatting whilst we waited for the track to become clear for his high speed run. Started in the Lambo Guillardo and the main event was the Mclaren MP4. Getting in and out of the Lambo was fine but getting into the Mclaren with a crash helmet was challenging for him. However, with the help of his fantastic driver we managed to squeeze him in and off they went. Despite it being a nailbiting experience (as it would be for most people) he came back wanting to go again. We will go again and thanks to all of the great team at Drift Limits.

    Petrolhead Heaven.
What better way to spend your Saturday morning than doing a Drifting Experience in a Nissan 350Z (BMW and MX5 also available). We were instructed by Benji, who was very easy to get along with, and gave good clear tuition. The session started with some paperwork and a safety briefing, so it was about an hour before we started actually Drifting. Toilet and Cafe facilities on site and loads of options to experience other types of cars. Insurance waivers available at extra cost and media packs also available at extra cost. I advise you to check availability in advance if you have booked a specific car, as we booked the 350Z and the first time we went it was out of service awaiting a spare part, but no one informed us in advance and so we rebooked and had to make the 1.5 hour journey again when the 350Z was in operation. All in all, a good bunch of guys and a fun experience ideal for any car and adrenaline junkie.

Great drifting experience! Shoutout to Fabs
I found out about Drift Limits online as I was looking for some sort of a track day experience to do for my birthday, and im glad that i found out about Drift Limits! Me and my friends arrived there at 8:30 in the morning for the drift session and were shortly put into the briefing room where the instructors told us about the different tracks and cars depending on the experience you have booked for. Afterwards we were shown our sighting laps in the BMW Drift Taxi which was awesome as it was the first ever time I have experienced drifting. After that's when the real drifting begins, my instructor was Fabs and he was extremely patient and accommodating. Initially I did 4 laps in the MX5 then moved on to the 350Z, what a sweet car to drift that is. In between the sessions they had a problem with wetting the track so Fabs offered me a 20 minutes session doing donuts around the roundabout! Then somehow the 350Z broke down and won't start so Fabs bought out a 350GT which is basically the same car as the 350Z so i can continue drifting the car I liked (Or at least the closest it could be to it), he apologised for the delay and even allowed my friends to get in the passenger seats during the last drift session! Overall, this was a great experience that I have had with Drift Limits and if you get yourself there and Fabs is your instructor, you will be well taken care of!
Thank you for your 5* review! We are glad to hear you had a great experience, and we will be sure to pass your thanks onto your instructor Fabs.

    Stunt Driving Experience
My girlfriend had booked me in for a stunt driving experience for my birthday, and what an experience it was. My instructor, Rishi, was such a great guy, he made me feel very comfortable as soon as I stepped into the Mazda MX-5 and was very good at explaining what to do. We started off with handbrake turns, which I got the hang of pretty quickly. Afterwards, he taught me how to perform a J-turn, which was amazing. Towards the end we combined the two to create a scene out of Fast & Furious. Who knows, maybe I’ll be the next Paul Walker. Thank you to Rishi and all of the Drift Limits team for making it such a special experience!
Thank you for your 5* review! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience, we will be sure to pass your thanks onto your instructor Rishi. We hope to welcome you to Drift Limits again soon!

Very fun experience and great instruction!
My dad got me the stunt driving experience for my birthday and it was so fun! My instructor (Rishi) was great - he helped me feel safe and relaxed in the car. He taught me a few different skills including handbrake turns and J turns (J turns were my favourites). Would definitely recommend the stunt driving experience.
Thank you for your 5* review! We will pass your thanks onto your instructor Rishi We hope to see you again in the future!

Unfortunately, I booked my experience in an Ariel Atom for Thursday, 20 February when it rained all the time I was there. There isn't much else to do at Drift Limits so I wouldn't recommend taking someone along, especially if it is raining.

Before my time in the Atom, everyone was taken around the circuit for a few laps to show the correct line and braking points.

My instructor was Fat Harry, who, as far as I could tell, did not interfere with my enjoyment of the drive: he has dual control of clutch and brake. He gave continuous commentary on the best line to take and when to brake and accelerate. This was welcome given the conditions and the power under my right foot!

My allotted laps seemed to be over in no time. The actual experience was quite a small part of the visit because there was a lot of people doing various drives and experiences.

Overall, a very good time which I'd like to repeat when it is dry.

Thank you for the review, Colin. While the Atom is still a heap of fun in the wet, it can sometimes not be the most pleasant car to be in when it is pouring with rain. On days like that we do always offer for you to drive something else with a roof in case the rain is a bit much. Our instructors do have dual controls, brake and clutch, but are reserved for emergencies and are not there to interfere with your experience. I'm glad that Fat Harry gave you confidence in the car and I will pass on your compliments to him. Of course the time spent driving is dependant on how many cars and for how many laps are spent in each. We do offer on the day upgrades which allow customers to try new cars or get extra laps, these upgrades are also for family and friends that have come along so they are not left out of the fun. I am glad that you enjoyed your time with us, Colin. We hope that you will come back, maybe in the dry, to drive the atom to its full potential on some warm slick tyres.

Friendly and enthusiastic staff, great track and good facilities. It's fully complient with the covid safe rules and medical grade masks can be bought at reception. A special mention to Little Tom and handy Tom, who were excellent at teaching racing lines and how to hold a drift and Dom, who's organising skills were military grade. Would not hesitate to visit this place again and I'm already planning my next driving day 😊 I've been on a couple of driving experiences and this, by far, is the best one I've been on. I would recommend taking the damage waver insurance (only £25) as, if you do have an accident, it's going to cast you a hell of a lot more.

Before going to drift limits, my only experience of a track was being a passenger at Silverstone. However this was an entirely different experience.

We decided to take the train as the session started at 4pm - avoid the M25 if you are travelling on it at rush hour, it's madness!
We
We arrived at the track, and checked in for the Tesla experience. They handled covid rules very well and provide you with a mask certifies for car driving (for a few £). There are toilets and coffee facilities as well.

You get an informative brief and then it's time to get in some cars. You get a few laps to see the lines of the track and mine was in a Maserati. All of the drivers are very friendly and informative. Be warned, the last lap of this, they drive properly! I wouldn't try and replicate it 😂

After that I got called for my driving experience in the Tesla. I was with Harry the instructor and he made the experience even better. He was very friendly and genuine, was telling me all about his experience with the Tesla while I was getting used to the track and gave me help with the racing lines when I got more confident.
He also did his best paparazzi impression and took some photos for me after which was really kind of him considering I didn't buy the media package.

Don't expect anything as luxurious as Silverstone, but I highly reccomend drift limits for a great day of driving fast cars.

Don't waste your time complaining to this company they wont help, the management team have no understanding, and give everyone the same generic response..... something along the lines of " similar to if you booked a theatre or cinema ticket, if you do not attend the show, the theatre would not gift complimentary tickets to another show, this is the same situation here. " (um yes they do and i know companies that have) its called being understanding, you might want to try it once in a while! Its the managers go to when you're asking them to be understanding in very unusual or difficult situations. The cold heartless, money grabbing management team wont & will make you keep paying a rebooking fee. Ollie has said he will reply to my review which I'm sure he will in his rude, condescending manner that I have received the whole time in regards to my son dislocating his knee, literally a day before. but they don't care all they want is money. even though i paid £36 for changing it before when I had 20 days to go. They filled this spot so they didn't lose any money, they could of waved the £36 for the dislocated knee and used their profit of the £36. In the circumstances I would of expected a little more understanding. instead of condescending and rude. As ollie said I should read more of the terms and conditions for other things I book so I don't have this problem again.... what a absolute bell end! my advice avoid this place and any communication with what they call a manager...!

Had the fortune of spending an afternoon at the track driving their supercharged Ariel Atom as part of a birthday experience. The day started with a brief introduction alongside other visitors, so precautions were taken with everyone having to wear N95 masks (they are available to purchase on site if you do not have one - they will not allow you partake in the sessions if you don't/refuse to wear one).

There was then 4 sighting laps with an instructor in either an Evo or Subaru - 3 of which were discussing the racing line/breaking points etc, and the final one was a quick lap demonstration.

I then had 10 laps in the Atom with my instructor Tom - very knowledgable and helpful, showing me the best lines again for this particular car allowing me to progressively get faster each time. He clearly felt comfortable in the passenger seat and allowed me the freedom to push the car quite a bit. Even chatted afterwards to give us a little debrief.

Weather was dry, but if raining there are limited places to keep dry if you're waiting/watching under social distancing.

Really enjoyable experience and I now need an Atom in my life ;)

Thank you for the 5 stars! I am glad to hear you enjoyed the Atom and that Tom made it all the better for you. We take our Covid precautions very seriously and unless you can prove you are exempt then you must wear an N95/KN95/FFP2 or greater mask. If you ever want to return make sure to ask for Tom to instruct you again, he will happily oblige. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

Their booking system is a shambles and so is there ability to communicate.

I "provisionally" booked an experience online and had received an email from Drift Limits stating that my voucher was not valid for that particular experience to which I replied with that's fine and could the valid experience be booked in? I then didn't hear back and this was a over the weekend and the provisional booking for the "wrong invalid experience" was for Monday morning. Due to having no confirmation that the request to book in for the valid experience and my booking was still marked down as pending I had not made travel plans and taken time out of business to attend as nothing was confirmed by the company. Why would I turn up at 8am on a Monday morning, somewhere that's 40 Miles away without a confirmation email that stated the time and date of my confirmed valid experience? So after asking the company whether or not that had been approved, I heard nothing back over the weekend only to receive an email 45 minutes before my provisional booking, from their administrator that my booking is confirmed and I would have to pay a fee if I were to change it? Extremely unfair, disorganised, rude and unprofessional. There are other companies that make the booking experience efficient, practical and straight forward.

What a great morning. Wife booked the GT3 for 14 laps which was fantastic and probably the last time I'll go 0-60 in 2.8 seconds....

My instructor Harry was excellent! and soon had me traveling around the track as fast as I wanted to go. After 5 laps or so I was fast enough for the boost to kick in.

Oh my god!

You can book different packages here, but the McLaren GT 3 gives you 14 laps on a separate track.

We also did 4 hot laps in the Lambo with Harry driving, I think we topped 140 MPH before breaking into the bend :-)

I would recommend both Drift Limits, Harry & the GT3 Experience.

Thank you for the 5 stars Terry! The McLaren is an absolute beast before the boost kicks in let alone when it hits you like a train. Harry will be very pleased to hear the feedback, I will pass it on to him. You never know, if you come back you will be able to experience that acceleration again ;)

My boyfriend was bought a voucher for the Ferrari and Lamborghini Driving Blast which he tried to redeem in April 2022. On booking he received a subsequent email stating that both the Ferrari 360 and Lamborghini Gallardo were undergoing maintenance and bookings had actually been paused. The offer was to book onto an experience with different cars or be placed on a waiting list. He opted for the latter thinking this would be perhaps a month or so, however despite multiple follow ups it was December 2022 before the Lamborghini was back in action, confirmed by an email titled “The Lamborghini Gallardo is back! WOOHOO”. He swiftly booked a slot on Saturday 21st January 2023…well that was after he was told there was a £35 supplement if he wanted to redeem the voucher on a Saturday!

We arrived for his allocated slot at 10.00am and attended the 10.15am briefing. Following that the group stood in freezing temperatures eagerly awaiting to be called for their sighting laps. After 1 hour 30minutes, my boyfriend's name was called and he jumped in the back seat of a Subaru alongside two other participants – not quite the driving experience he was expecting.

The laps were completed and we continued to wait to be called for the driving laps. It was about Midday when his name was called and he was informed that both the Ferrari and the Lamborghini had broken down in the morning sessions and were no longer available. So after 9 months of waiting the cars were actually still unavailable…understanding that these things can happen he agreed to pick two lesser cars and was told by Dan in the pits “thanks for that, it’ll be a couple of minutes”. Having seen most of the 10.00am party come and go, my boyfriend approached Dan at 12:30pm (2.5 hours after we had arrived) and asked for an update. He was met with an aggressive response which was full of untruths about how none of the 10.00am party had completed their experiences and that he had provided regular updates about delays from the outset. This was finished off by telling him it was at least one more additional hour wait time (so 3.5 hours post arrival) and if that wasn’t okay, he should go into the office and re-book.

Shocked at this response, we then headed into the office to report this behaviour in the hope of speaking to the person in charge, only to be told that Dan was the Pit Manager and was the person in charge on site.

Unable to wait for 3.5 hours, we asked for a refund only to be told that a refund wasn’t possible, only re-booking. With the staff showing no willingness to help, we had to accept that they would put a note on the system to request a refund and it would be picked up by the bookings team next week.

So we left with no driving experience, no refund, no explanation or apology for the delay, and with no feeling in our toes!

Stay well clear!!

Firstly, i have done a fair few track days over the years, and never felt compelled to post a review. I appreciate this is an in depth review but it is honest and fair.

I was booked today for the Ariel Atom experience. I booked in summer specifically because the last time I drove an Atom, there were adverse weather conditions (icy), and i wanted to drive it in the dry.

For some background, the previous experience provider would not allow the car to be driven above 30-40mph due to adverse conditions and i left feeling rather unhappy.

Today, pretty much upon arrival, a thunderstorm started and you can only imagine how i felt history repeating itself. The staff at Drift Limits reassured me that the show would go on, but I have to say at first I was sceptical as the weather was quite bad.

We were taken out by an instructor to show us the track, and even on his hot lap it was clear the conditions were tough (although he was a great driver to be fair). I did think, how am I going to handle these conditions in an Ariel Atom

Shortly after, I was introduced to Tom who was supervising my drive in the Atom. We had a brief chat and then got under way. Right from the start he gave clear instructions but in a way that kept the fun in the session. I felt he was respecting that I was there to experience the car and he just tailored his advice to the conditions in a very informal way.

As a result, I felt comfortable in pushing the limits of my own capabilities throughout the drive and just listened to his calm advice throughout which, again, was calm and encouraging.

There was a bit of a hairy moment when I went a bit heavy on the breaks and we aqua-planed as a result, and probably to the point that he won't forget it for a while - but his reaction was instant and excellent (although if you do drive there soon, please don't put him through that again the poor fella!).

I would certainly recommend Drift Limits as a good experience provider, and would happily attend again when able. All staff were great, Tom in particular was fantastic. Went home laughing and smiling!

Thank you for the 5 stars Jamie! It was a real shame about the weather being so adverse after all the sun we had but we will always try to get you out no matter the weather. Tom did raise an eyebrow or two at your "Brown Pants Moment" (His words) but nothing he couldn't handle, though he did require a stiff drink later that evening. We look forward to welcoming you back, hopefully when the weather is more favourable.

Two of us went through discounted vouchers, which is a good thing because £158 would have been an awful lot of money for a few minutes of driving. The deal was originally for 10 laps but Drift Limits reduced it to 8 laps on the basis that the track has been extended. However, we both reckoned we only had 6 laps although it's hard to count with any certainty when you're concentrating on driving. We were just starting to get good laps in when we had to come off the track. We drove the Tesla and a lot is made of its Ludicrous mode but we don't think this was ever engaged and the acceleration was nothing amazing (due to the nature of the track and experience, you never get to actually get to try out the 0-60 in a straight line, which is fair enough). It was great fun to drive the car around a track and get an idea of what it can do but it was all over a bit too soon. We waited around for nearly two hours after the briefing before actually getting to drive but they also helpfully brought forward my booking that was for a later slot so that we could go one after the other. We found the staff friendly and the coaching was good.
