Cineworld Hemel. 21st Sept Thursday 20.20.
The venue is ok; the film was entertaining; points knocked off for staff attitude... leys face it thats the only thing they have to get right!...Short, stocky, dark haired woman at entrance to screen trying to impress a new member of staff by accusing me of taking hot food into the cinema as she saw me put a bag in my jacket pocket. When it was pointed out it was not hot food but simply peanuts she looked a fool and didn't know how to respond so simply said that peanuts weren't allowed in as they smell!! .. hmm... just like the hot dogs and popcorn which weren't apparently an issue! Told her she could have the peanuts and hope she enjoyed them. Made herself look a right muppet by trying to be clever and getting her facts completely wrong. Such a shame that she let down the whole team tonight.

Cineworld in Hemel Hempstead was overrun by ‘Travellers’ children who were blatant in their total disregard for paying customers entitlement to view a film in peace ,free of disruptive and anti social behaviour!
The staff on duty were unable to cope with the 8 or so reprobates and allowed them to run amok. It was total bedlam and I will be writing to Cineworld head office demanding for a full refund or additional tickets as compensation for a ruined evening!!!

Don’t go here unless you want a parking ticket for getting dinner and going to the cinema. I was using the facilities and with no clear signs, didn’t realise I was 19minutes over the time limit, and got fined £60. The cinema and restaurant didn’t help at all and the company refused to drop the fine. Wouldn’t recommend

Went with my twin 16 year olds to try and see a 15 film (Suicide Squad) to celbrate having their vaccinations. Went for a meal, got ice creams and drinks etc, but then at the door was asked for passports for my two kids. They had literally just been for their vaccination but no amount of seeing their exam results, looking at their vaccination marks or looking at the NHS vaccination invite was good enough. No passport, no entry! We got a refund (not on the ice creams or meal) but the whole afternoon was spoiled thanks to Ryan at door entry and Shannon the team leader applying their "rules" rather than looking at any evidence or using any common sense! Avoid.

We visited cinema this afternoon as a family to watch children’s movie. The cinema was nearly empty, we had two teenagers sat in front of us. My three year old was not making any noise but just moved from his seat a couple of times. Teenagers sought staff assistance, staff was completely on their side telling me off in a very aggressive manner if I can’t control my toddler we all have to leave. Jesus! It is a 3 year old! And he hardly made any noise just got up from his seat to walk from my husband to me across a couple of seats to get mummy cuddles. Teenagers were in front us they could have move anywhere in the cinema if it was inconveniencing them sooo much. It was children’s movie for goodness sake. I felt totally put off to visit as a family that cinema ever again.

My son is 17 and was refused entry to a 15 film. We went home to get photo ID and were refused entry again as his official bus pass with photo, name and DOB was still not enough! Apparently to see a film in Hemel Hempstead you need your passport. Your legal guardian and everyday official ID is not enough, even though this is not the advice given on the internet.

absolute abismal. we’re standing around in a raining jarman park for the best part of 3 hours. all excited, a group of 14 of my friends and i were hurrying in to watch the brand new minions movie, which we had waited for for 5 years. we met this absolute idiot(general manager), who told us to leave without us even seeing one minion. overall i am appalled and shocked at the fact that that bloke had the audacity to send us away. terrible and woeful organisation. #neveragain

We chose this cinema purely because it was the only place showing a particular film. The seats were really uncomfortable and not suitable for kids who need bumper seats. Based on cost per ticket it does not deliver as well as Vue in Watford.

absolutely terrible. we were sent out of minions because we were wearing smart clothes. a key person to this was the general manager and graeme. in my opinion they are not fit to work there as they are not letting people go in the cinema because of a “meme” i do not reccommend this cinema and it should be avoided at all costs. never ever go there as they have caused us a massive inconvenience. i will never go back.

You can’t only the days shown have the early booking option. You will have to wait about three days before to book on that date
