Fix the leaking roof, change details on website, clean more!
I visited Berkhamsted with my 4 year old and 3 month old baby, it isn’t clear on the website that you need to pay (£4!) for a baby even if they are so small they don’t play on anything. Apparently this was due to the “head count” but I’m not sure why we couldn’t have been charged £1.50 like every adult is.
There is a roof leak which puts one area out of action, there’s a rubbish sign which didn’t stop kids running in and stepping over a wet dirty floor. Also the roof leak is leaking all over a ceiling light, very dangerous.
Due to Covid I expected some areas to be different as some items cannot be used, however I expected the cleanliness to be better as they are apparently cleaning more. It was really grubby in some places.
I have emailed but heard nothing back, I don’t think this is safe at the moment to be visited by people with children. Please improve DJs.

My son just had his 6th birthday yesterday here in Hemel Hempstead was completely desorganised!!! My "own dedicated host" that just the name because she is it not, because i was to looking for her all the time. She's name i think it's Georgia , she just came to me outside when was the exactly time for party and everyone was already there!! She bring me in and the people from the party before was still there!! So i was ready to set up and the parents for sit down around 25min after !! Staff was cleaning the dirty table with a cloth and touching the forks at the same time. She didn't ask the parents what their childrens wants to eat and she didn't give me any information about the party, i had to ask everything!! I ask if they can put my cake on the fridge they said: "ah i don't know if i have space on the fridge" but they did. After all this food came, and was very cold and the chips was very hard to eat!! It's not a 2h party time because the party start later and then before finish Georgia came and ask if she can have the big king chair for another party when my son was still sitting there eating his ice cream... i had a very sad boy after this!! Was expecting much more for the money!!

Took my 8 month old son today, it was dirty, tired and broken soft play equipment. The sensory area lights and bubble tube was barely working. Adults in the play area were sitting on the only soft play cubes. There was not much for my son to be able to play with. The things that were available were dirty and many broken.

Nice soft play, seemed clean and quite open. Staff pleasant enough alough did not appreciate the constant demands to leave for the last 15 minutes. I've paid for a slot so I'll call my child out at the end of their slot. It's very over priced in comparison to other soft plays. My daughter is 7 so couldn't go on most the areas. £12 for a child but then £3 each for adults to just sit at a table.... £18 total for less then 2 hours is extremely high.

Took my son who was so looking forward to going kidzone. Only to find the place has shrunk to half the size under new ownership. I was told my son was going to have to sit down and wait till current session had finished before he could play which was strange. I reluctantly handed the staff my money only to be told they don’t except legal tender only cards… which I didn’t have on me at the time so was completely stuck and very put out. And when I tried pointing out that this really wasn’t a great first impression and this was mostly likely the reason they were completely empty on a rainy day I was faced with snide sarcasm from the staff who obviously didn’t appreciate our severe disappointment. Will never return to this place. How you can buy a brilliant business revamp it and make it worse is beyond my comprehension. Save yourself a trip and go ice skating or something

We had my sons birthday party here today and it was a great success. It was a party for 23 3 and 4 year olds and it was not stressful at all. We had a party co-ordinator call Abbie and she took care of everything on the day for us and she did a great job.
All the children ran around climbed in the soft play and had great fun, then they had food (a cold platter) which Abbie sorted out for us. All the children seemed to have had good fun and my son had a really great birthday party. Can’t thank you enough, and a big thank you goes to Abbie (and her colleagues as they worked really well as a team) who made the day so easy for us and really good fun for the children who came to the party.

My son had his laser tag party at the weekend. From the moment we arrived Grace and Ed our party hosts were there for anything we should need. They went over and above to ensure every small detail was taken care of and did everything with a smile on their face. All of the children had a brilliant time and I would highly recommend the venue for a party. Thank you again Grace and Ed.

This place is great, there is so much to do. It gets especially busy at weekends and over the school holidays.
My little girl loves it. Avoid if you have a hangover haha.
Daughters third party was held here on a Sunday in January. Everything was fabulous. Our host was lovely and we had everything we needed and more. Plus a free entry for another time. Highly recommend it.

Classic case of a business being ruined by the regulations. Did anyone really ever go for soft play for the hygiene? If you say yes I know you’re lying. I think it would be better to have “COVID secure” days for the looneys and then let normal families have fun the rest of the time. Area for under 2s now tragic, generally anything not nailed down has gone. Ball-free ball pit, very novel. Nice and quiet due to to capacity restrictions. Like I said, I feel sorry for them, not their fault.

First trip back to soft play post covid! Great experience. Throughly enjoyed by all my children (1, 5 and 7). Felt the play park were taking every precaution to ensure it was a safe environment for everyone during this pandemic (hand sanitizer, frequent cleaning, reduced capacity, mask wearing). Always felt this was one of the nicer, cleaner soft plays around and this was definitely reinforced this visit. Have booked again for next week!

Is there a restaurant or a place to have some lunch available at the play park?
