Turned up early on a sunny enough Bank Holiday Sunday, first anglers on the lake. I'd probably not fly fished in about 10 years, and Christine was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. She told us where to fish and sold us the flies she'd recommend....More

Lovely presented and maintained lake - I usually fish for a few hours and manage a fish or two on 'catch and release'. Friendly and helpful at reception. Reception area a bit cluttered. With the rivers often unfishable 'flood or drought' a great alternative but...More

Lovely scenic fishing location with easy access and varied 'pegs'. Friendly and helpful owner. Recent work has improved appearance further. Some large feisty rainbows. Near the facilities (inns, restaurants etc.) of Bromyard (10 min drive). I keep returning.

Visited Kingfisher earlier this week for the first time. Lovely fishery, well supported by Christine whose hospitality was superb. This fishery sets a standard that all sites should try to achieve. Looking forward to returning especially when able to camp overnight on site.
