In the heart of the glorious New Forest, Beaulieu is one of the South's top visitor attractions. Here you will find the National Motor Museum, home to over 250 vehicles telling the history of motoring. You can also visit Palace House and Gardens, home of the Montagu family since 1538, the remains of Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear where you can see some of the vehicles from Jeremey, James and Richard's most ambitious challenges. Ride on the high level Monorail or climb aboard the replica 1912 open top London bus for a fun way to see Beaulieu's sights.

I visited on a very very wet day, so spent most of my time in the museum rather than wandering the grounds. I did take the bus ride to the Palace and back (stayed on for the round trip). I was slightly disappointed to find the Top Gear area closed off (no advance warning at reception that I could see),... More

We really enjoyed looked round the car museum and the house. Also the monorail was fun to ride on. The cafe is very expensive £4-5 for a sandwich!

This venue offers something for all the family, in wonderful grounds. The presentation of the House is exceptionally friendly as well as interesting -- with a real family feel. The only down side is that it is very expensive, so I would recommend planning to spend the whole day there to get value out of your admission charge.

All very interesting, cars and motorcycles. All vehicles in concours condition. Not as many on show as I was expecting. It was a terribly wet day so had to dodge the weather when we could. Recommend taking the organise house tour if you can also make sure to have a walk around the other buildings that are open. They are... More

it had been quite a few years since our last visit - or should I say decades, so we decided to do the lot. This included the monorail, the ride in the vintage bus and of course the beautiful gardens and Palace House. This is certainly a full day out and a must for any visitor, the cafe was clean... More

Beaulieu National Motor Museum is a gorgeous and unique attraction. Catering for many different people. With events held through the year and something for everyone, it will definitely keep the whole family entertained. My only fault with Beaulieu is the cost to get in! But the money if put to good use in the upkeep of the grounds and attractions.

A trip down memory lane for my husband. Amazing collection of vehicles all very well presented. Enjoyable visit to the Top Gear tent, mono rail, gardens, palace and chapel buildings. Great for all ages.

Very interesting, however disappointed with the food, very expensive for a couple of rolls tea, coffee and a cake, the quality of the rolls and the skimpy filling just made it worse. That said I would come again and bring my own picnic

We arrived at 10.30 and left at 4.30 feeling as thought we had had a full occupied day out. The staff dressed up in period costume in Palace House were so full of information and enthusiasm (especially the Lady upstairs) that you were pulled into the history. We thought we had missed out on the mono rail but managed to... More
