A great place to visit included in the ticket to visit the National motor museum. The house has many knowledgable staff which can tell you about the house and the family. The walls have many lovely portraits, there are little areas for children to draw....More

The Palace House was still decorated for Christmas snd we were greeted with mulled apple juice, gingerbread men and joined in a pantomime and Christmas carols. We also visited the National Motor Museum where we saw the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang exhibition.

Decorated for Christmas, with trees in every room. Don't mis the secret army expo next door. Take the bus or monorail from the museum to the house
