Sorry, folks but this place is now permanently closed. Shame, 'cos it used to be quite good. Still, pop into Ringwood itself and have a wander - a nice little town.

A bit pricey for the thin content but and interesting diversion into the past. handy Tea Room! The exhibits are varied and cover a range of the past in Hampshire activities.

Visited today notice on the door "closed 1st august". Will not be reopening, followed by legal stuff about the ownership of exhibits etc. Shame. Was recommended to us by friends. Sadly no more. Be careful website is still up and running though.

Wow what great place to visit, this is a hands on museum, very little behind glass and no staff peering over your shoulder and saying don't touch, it is built to represent the Old Town of Ringwood, with shop and garage frontages, there is even...More
