Segway fun
Oct 2021 • Friends
Segway experience was great fun, easy to learn, and accessible way to see the Forest. Our instructor Callum was friendly and very patient with us.

Great experience, awesome team!
Aug 2021 • Family
I visited this Go Ape with some family for a Summer holiday treat. There were 3 adults and 3 children in our party, two of which were under 6 years old so we all did the Treetop Adventure as we wanted to be together. Absolutely couldn’t fault the team - were very thorough in their safety briefing, training and especially making sure all children’s harnesses were secure. There were three different courses to choose from (can do them as many times as you are able in your time slot!) plus the zip-wire. My niece was a little scared once at the top, the team made it no big deal at all for us all to come down and start again (due to the way the safety structure works). Once my niece had had many a go on the zip-wire and felt like she wanted to have another go, they asked that no-one else but a guardian go behind her so she could take it all at her own pace and not worry - she absolutely smashed it and was so proud of herself. Admittedly, I became very close to bottling it on a couple of occasions and the staff were amazing at cheering me on from the ground, explaining how to cross certain parts etc. A really friendly team who clearly enjoy their jobs. We had a great time and will most definitely be back once the little ones are a bit older to try the ‘next level’!

I would like to say a big thank you to Anna who came to my daughters rescue when she got stuck on one of the activities. My daughter got very scared mid way and Anna helped her. She was so kind and helpful. Thank you.

Highly recommended Challenge
Aug 2021 • Family
Booked my kids ( late teens - early 20’s) onto Challenge and was really impressed. Their instructor Holly was very informative and funny making the experience so much fun. At one stage my youngest needed some assistance which was no trouble for Holly, she even made the rescue fun instead of embarrassing!
My eldest enjoyed Challenge so much he is planning on returning with friends in the hope of having Holly as his instructor again ;)
My only criticism would be the parking charges but I know that’s not the fault of GoApe.

Great service & a great experience
Aug 2021
Myself & my partner had a forest segway booked at 9am this morning with Callum,it was brilliant. A good demonstration & training was given, we had a good few go's round the training track & we were then off following Callum down the tracks. We went a little way down it & then came off training mode to go at a faster pace, We found it all really easy to use. We stopped a few times for a quick courtesy chat & to check we were ok & then off again. Callum was brilliant ,a very nice yong man. We were really pleased with the service & the segway exoerience today. Thank you very much,we will be back.

Misleading
Aug 2021 • Family
My nephews really enjoyed the experience.. I brought this for them as a treat after a traumatic few months.. we arrived early as suggested for the training required before heading off.. we had booked for 1 hour at 4.30 with training 15 mins before. Training finished at 4.50 and my nephews were back at base for 5.35. 45 mins which cost me £105.00 for the 3 of them. Then got stung with 11.50 car park fees for just over 2 hours parking.

Great family fun
Aug 2021 • Family
We had a lovely day at Moors Valley. Did Go Ape 1st which was great fun & then Segways later on, which was a brilliant way to see more of the forest.
It's incredibly busy this summer, so book early & enjoy!

Segways, brilliant staff

Great day out and highly recommend, we did segways and the instructor Zoe was so great with us taking her time and ensuring we were comfortable! Parking is a bit steep and would be my only complaint

Lovely place, grim cafe.
Aug 2021 • Family
A beautiful location with loads of activities for children, the walking is challenging for those of us who are less able.
The cafe and food kiosk are dire and the street food van wasn't operating. The cafe was over priced with a long, slow queue, the staff had a couldn't care less attitude and there was almost no food left at 12.45.
And why no bins? I'm sure the management could afford some, especially considering the cost of parking.
Su h a gorgeous place, spoilt by a lack of customer care.

Too crowded and aggressive
Aug 2021 • Family
It could be good but today it was a bit like lord of the flies-older boys attacking the younger ones. To be fair the staff intervened effectively but it was over crowded and caused some distress.
