Beautiful place!!

We parked at Blackwater (free parking with toilets on site) and from here did the tall trees trail which is about 1.5 miles. Was fantastic highly recommend.

Have spent the bank holiday away in the new forest, have been cycling, eating walking, playing with the kids, drinking, eating oh and eating and drinking. Highly recommend the area as plenty of places to see and lots to do. I'm not couple hours from London and you there, drive or train is all good. Bike hire is simple with... More

A beautiful area that houses plenty of wildlife and a few tourist attractions including the New Forest Water Park which is fab. Loads of camp sites, country pubs and little shops. Busy in August but beautiful. Cycling, riding and exploring are great things to do here. Just love this area :)

The New Forest is an area outside London where the free range animals have the right of way. It is a lovely thick forest, with wandering animals of all sorts. Have to take it slow on the roads because of the animals and also the roads are very narrow in some places. A fun drive on a sunny day!

This is a destination that you can always come back to and enjoy more and more. This year we spent two weekends here over the summer. We had different weather each weekend so did different things but even if you're walking across the heath land in full waterproofs and soaked through shoes, it's still a nice place to be. We... We popped in to look at an Art exhibition and decided to walk through the Museum where we got to learn about the history of the New Forest. There was no charge and it was really interesting to look around.

Every year we come to the new forest and the kids love had pony's and the little streams they play in. Each year we get a family picture under the same tree.
