About
We're a family business that started 22 years ago right here in the same spot in Four Marks. We started in one room (that is now the top half our bar!), with a micro brewing kit and a passion to create great beer. Alton's Pride went on to become Champion Beer of Britain in 2008 and continues to be a best seller. Following a huge renovation in November 2019 we now boast a bar that features a roaring fire, snugs, booths and bar seating with a range of craft beers, artisan spirits, adult soft drinks alongside Triple fff classics.

An overheated disappointment not to be repeated
Nov 2021
I find it difficult to believe that I was in the same bar as those who wrote the glowing reviews.

I very much like Triple fff beer, and had been looking forward to visiting Offf the Rails at the conclusion of a birthday walk.

The bar was horribly overheated; the barmaid appeared to be of similar opinion and turned down the heating on her arrival.

My first beer came from within a cardboard box; it was warm, old and flat. I returned it but noted that others were served the same beer.

My replacement beer came from a cask; it was warm, flat and sour. I returned it and the cask was taken down.

My second replacement beer, which came from a freshly tapped cask, was warm and drinkable with some resentment.

There appears to be no cooling whatsoever for the cask ales.

This is the taproom of a fine brewery but, on this occasion, it disgraced both the brewery and its beers.

Deliciously crafted ales, worth a visit especially for the connoisseur. Either to purchase from the shop or offf the rails Bar.

Xmas booze shopping
Dec 2020 • Couples
Friendly and engaging staff. Got us a sample of booze as well to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Interesting variety of ale's. They also do Gin and Port and Rum. Definitely worth the drive in the countryside this weekend.

Top Class Traditional Take Away English Ale
Nov 2020
The Moondance was exceptional, one of the best ales I have had for a long time . Well Done. Looking forward to trying the Altons Pride and the Comfortably Young. Well worth the support during these difficult times.

Great place to be!
Jun 2020
Literally one of the best things to happen to Four Marks in the last 10 or so years.. Finally the locals have somewhere to go for a quiet pint with their mates and families with the option of sitting both inside and out.

Great selection of drinks at an incredibly reasonable price with wonderful, friendly staff members makes this a great place to be.. After the recent announcement from EHDC regarding the outside space, most people in Four Marks were enraged with this decision and somehow managed to get this reversed within a matter of days. Let's hope this stays this way.

A warm and friendly pub with great beer
Jan 2020
Now established itself as my local when walking the dog. He of course drags me in for the free dog treats, I stick with the beer. Always manage to have a chat with someone on these occasions. This may be an unusual setup but it is certainly a village pub where you can go to meet with family and friends.

What can I say, if you like good BEER then this is the place to go.
Nov 2018 • Friends
I have known Graham for years He was always obsessed by good beer.
So one day he started a brewery... He has never looked back.
Became best brewer in the UK in 2008. Now you can not only visit the brewery but go and have a pint in his new pub and have a real treat....

Off the Rails: Saviour of Four Marks!
Dec 2018 • Friends
This is a highly enjoyable, atmospheric and genuinely warm pub - The Triple F Brewery deserve all the credit for taking the plunge and creating, then opening, this wonderful little pub. We live in Four Marks itself and can I ask you, what is any community without a pub? Well Off the Rails is a real bonus for locals and visitors. Superb ales off the barrel, nice and warm and comfortable [although you might want to bring your own cushion], and a super music selection which suits my tastes [I'm a lad of the 70s]. All in all, a super and friendly little pub. Thank you Triple F and take a bow.
