The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a conservation charity and award winning visitor centre that operates in the fields of conservation, education, rehabilitation and research of birds of prey. Set in 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow, there are over 150 birds of prey on view, from the tiny Pygmy Owl to the impressive Steller's Sea Eagles! Many of these birds are involved in the spectacular daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding or environmental enrichment projects. Every visitor can hold a British bird of prey and there are extra activities during weekends and school holidays for the younger visitors.

This is the 2nd time we have visited the Hawk Conservancy with our grand-daughters (7 & 4). We all enjoyed the amazing flying displays and the knowledge of the presenters is very impressive. The girls loved finding the the golden eggs and stamps for their passports and also the pond dipping.

Excellent day. Several flying displays spaced throughout the day with time I between to take refreshment at the superb and reasonably priced restaurant and wander around the site. Occupied from 11 through to 4.30. Favourite was the secretary bird stamping on a snake!

A highlight of our trip to UK! There is even a lovely restaurant where we could relax between displays while the kids explored with their scavenger hunt booklets, provided with admission. The guides were extremely helpful and informative.

From 10 until 4:31 we were enthralled, entertained and excited by the displays, activities for the kids and sheer number of birds to look at! Staff were impressive with their knowledge and passion for their work and we will be coming back again to see how the conservancy continues to grow and grow!

I wasn't sure what to expect but was not disappointed and with a really good restaurant which is open all day, lots of birds to see and the most spectacular flying displays there is definitely enough to keep little ones entertained all day. All the staff are fantastic, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will certainly be back.

A brilliant value-for-money day out. I treated my daughter to the Young Falconers Experience for her birthday which she loved. The staff are always welcoming and happy to answer questions, and keen to involve everyone, and obviously very committed to educating visitors about endangered birds of prey. Vultures rock!

The flying display was great, Initially a Peregrine with a lure, then the Vultures at least 6 of them swooping down on the audience--you had to duck!! Lastly some cruising Kites-fantastic,tho' one never returned during the display !!

This is an amazing place to bring your children, who will love the flying displays which are on daily.... there is a trail which the children take part in stamping a card with the birds they see on the way around....parents and children alike will enjoyed this
