Love this place, I'm a big fan of anything Antarctic and the gardens are beautiful. Great gift shop and tea rooms both supporting local business. Park behind the Selborne arms.

This lovely place was packed with families on a beautiful day over half term. We ate a delicious lunch outside and admired the snowdrops. Everyone is so friendly and the new stable yard and rooms work so well.

We came here in summer and came back again as we had a free pass. Visited many years ago before the renovation and I think it is much improved. Good for children. Lovely peaceful place will definately return

The Cafe created in the old stables makes a lovely setting, the food is beautifully presented at good prices and you do not need to go into the museum to use the cafe which is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10.30am to 5pm

Hi 2 hours is fine for the museums unless you want to read every last detail! Enjoy the gardens and take a walk up the Zig Zag path and have a pint at the Selborne Arms... The you have a day trip on your hands. Enjoy it.
