Turned up having not booked on the off chance there was spaces available, were made very welcome by the gentleman selling the tickets, and all other staff were very pleasent. The train was regularly cleaned, and well upkept. Well worth visiting and good value for money, although not the most scenic railway I have been to, I would still very much reccomed.

What a fantastic experience to visit the Watercress Line, starting at Alresford, earlier this week. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, the staff/volunteers couldn't have been friendlier/more passionate and the whole operation was exceptionally well-run (efficient and clean) - all the more impressive given the difficult Covid-19 times they are working in. It really felt like I was was transported to another, magical world. We will definitely be visiting again.

I’ve visited the line a number of time over the years. This trip was in the strange COVID-19 world. Booked in advance. Everything well organised with allocated seats and social distancing so everything felt safe. Great as always to ride behind a steam train through the Hampshire countryside.

This was my first visit and not disappointed. Booked tickets in advance for a Wednesday. Arrived and park in the car park which was £1.50 for the day. All staff adhering to government policy. We had four seats for the two of us and needed to wear masks. Cafe was open so grab ourselves a bacon and egg buttie and a coffee. The weather was good and the round trip was thoroughly enjoyable with the guard giving information when we stopped at stations where we were able to stretch our legs and look around. Great experience for young and old.

Great day out and able to explore the line with the schedule and arranged stops. A big effort has been made by the railway to give good value for money and a pleasant experience even with the Covid-19 related restrictions. Thank you for a nice journey through the country.
