Good place for shopping in the Lowry Mall as at present with the sales some bargains to be had. Walking around Media City and the waterfront across the bridges was interesting to see what had been done and the architecture, some nice eating and drinking places to suit everyone. A short walk from Media City is Old Trafford for football... More

We like the fact that parking is easy in the multi-storey. You get 4 hours' free parking for a spend of £5 in the shopping complex if you get your car park ticket validated. There is a good Food Court area with a choice of places to eat. There was a skating rink just outside Media City and attractive Christmas... More

A lot of the ladies on our coach wanted to "shop" at Trafford Park,so we dropped them off whilst we went to Salford Quays, where there are plenty of shopping outlets -- Oh how they missed out !! We visited the SUPERB T.S Lowry Centre and exhibits of some of his works -- FREE, then across to the Imperial War... More

Really delightful. They talk about a rose by any other name. Salford Quays was nothing like what I was expecting. A testament to the benefit of public investment which brings people and commerce together. It's open, clean, and fresh, with shopping, restaurants, museums, modern buildings, great architecture, lots of walking, good views, surrounded by water, and quiet. There's so much... More

A great area to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fine architecture. There is much to see and do in the area of shopping, restaurants and museums. It`s well worth a trip there. It`s easy to get there by bus. And the bus stops nearby every 15 minuts until late.

Quiet, cleaner area for shopping and we saw they had a cinema. Nice to walk around and pop into the museums, shops and various restaurants. Will put more time aside next time we visit to do more while we're there.

It was lovely walking from the hotel along the river and around media city. The only mess was from the geese!
