A surprising gem in the heart of Manchester. I've lived here for over 15 years and didn't even know this existed but to be fair it only reopened in 2011. They've done an amazing job at renovating it as it's beautifully clean and accessible. I came with the family (3 tweens) and they had great fun exploring the building, dressing... More

I recently went to Ordsall Hall's garden Party with my sister and my 2 nephews and I wasn't disappointed, it was a fun day for all and something for everyone. Can't wait for the next one. I recommend it to everyone.

Definitely worth a visit if you live locally.Free admission. Not a great deal to see it do and wouldn't like to have to pay to enter. Can't see that I would go back.

It's been a few years since I last visited the hall and their have been quite a few changes. The outside garden at the front of the house as been installed to what it looked like originally. Really well done. The inside of the hall as also been improved to show more of the original structure. The children that we... More

I havent been to Ordsall Hall for about ten years. But what a transformation since then. The gardens are beautiful, the interior updated to appeal to youngsters and there was even lifts for oldies like me. There is a little cafe where you can get a drink and snack. It had a the added bonus of the Radcliffe Bed -... More

What a lovely historic old building to wander round & absorb the atmosphere. Sorry NO. There is precious little of the actual original building open & assessable to the general public. Massive shame.

Me and my Mam visited here the other day and it was a nice surprise to see a historic building in the midst of a housing estate. The building is not very big but there's a lot of history and interesting things to see. Overall I thought it was quite impressive and well worth a visit.
