This is a lovely walk unfortunately it’s rather short and although I have made it several times pretty relaxed and carefree I have heard there’s been few episode where young kids spoiled the experience for others. I wish there was a cafe maybe at the...More

there was a really nice tree our dog climbed it and we got verbally abused by some drugged teens who were shocked to see the dog in the tree :)

This is such a hidden gem. Just stops you thinking that you are in the middle of a busy town. Take your time and enjoy the experience

A scenic pastoral walk which meanders through the town. A great way to take your daily excercise and close enough to several pubs to pop in for a pint!

Lovely to walk or cycle along for two or three miles but be careful of dogs and young children if cycling. You may see kingfishers or even otters if you are lucky. There is also a duckpond and first world war murals.

I started my walk at Blackwater Lane, the address given in this listing. It leads down a mainly untarred track past the water treatment centre. When I got out of the car the stench from the water treatment works was very noticeable. A sign for...More

It remains a lovely place to go for a quiet walk. There are nice plants all around, plus the nice clean river, and as well as a well-signposted circular walk (which takes about 30 minutes), there are also walks off at a tangent if you...More
