Good to take a toddler on his bike as nice and flat. The parking is by app on your phone and is extortionate if you stay over an hour. The public toilets are disgusting and not looked after and cleaned which is a real shame...More

I suppose I have to ask 'what do I want from a park?'. It's nice and it's new - a bit too new really (not the parks fault!) but perfect for a stroll, jog, pedal, dog walk - just normal park stuff really. It's clean...More

Quiet walk around the park, good pathways with plenty of seating scattered around. Advisable to take a drink as no facilities to buy anything. Wide open spaces away from all traffic noise

Stopped off for a walk after a long motorway drive. Parking is £2.50 Very clean area. Lots of walkers and bike riders. We walked at least 4 miles round. Plenty of places to stop and rest. A little disappointed no refreshment area open

Great for cycling with the family. Lovely paths and not too many hills. The only down point is that their isn't much shade when you want to take a break and cool down. Some great wood carving of animals etc. placed around the park.

When you wander around this park its hard to think that is was once a place full of violence! Basically it was an explosive testing ground for over 100yrs in underground bunkers, As you enter you walk between some banks which were originally shockwave breakers!...More

Information boards, options for shorter or longer walks/cycles. Shame the information centre was all closed up during my visit.
