In the persistently hot Summer of 18, just on the edge of NE London, Epping Forest is waiting for you. You don't have to go as far as Epping, join it at Walthamstow, Highams Park, Chingford and Woodford all on train lines. Great for children,...More

There is plenty of space to cycle, walk, run, walk your dog, enjoy the flora and fauna and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also so vast that it will take a few visits to get to know each corner.

It was good to visit although the Visitor's Centre was closed. You could hear the noise of the traffic in the woods.
