Used this pub for 4 years. Very clicky. One small plate of cheese & a dish off onions was on the bar. With me being disabled, a man at the bar offered me the cheese & biscuits but he got shouted at saying people have...More

On the Saturday there was a good selection of ales but by the next day, the selection had dropped from 5 to 3. A little disappointing

Our second & last night in Clacton was spent in this pub. Welcoming Landlord and a good selection of beers. The only real pub that we found in the town.

I like this place because there is always a good choice of cask ales available. It was a hot day so we had a few pints in the 'beer garden'. The beers are well maintained in this 'no frills' pub.

Excellent for real ales. No frills , but a nice place for a drink. Ace food on Wednesday night. Beers change regularly which is a bonus :-)

A quiet and unassuming pub which consists of one square room and a beer garden at the front of the pub. Any Tegestologist would like a visit here as the walls are filled with dozens of beer mats which represent the different beers that have...More

Simple basic pub with dart boards although no-one was playing when we visited on a Friday evening. Music not so loud that one couldn't hold a conversation.
