Great night event

I visited the venue for an evening event, the gardens are a great place to visit and the night events just add that extra bit of magic.

I was disappointed by the lack of colour, I appreciate that the summer flowers are coming to an end but feel that they could do more to alleviate this. It was very pretty by the pond near the café and the grass there is beautiful but the walk to it was dull and boring apart from the Queen Mothers Garden... More

I am glad that I got free admission being a member of an affiliated club, as the visit today was disappointing. I probably chose the wrong time of the year to go as there was very little colour and certainly no autumn hues. The plants (for sale) was a disgrace with a good many well past their prime and still... More

An excellent garden, beautifully set out with two wonderful restaurants and an opportunity to buy healthy plants.

I am a member of the RHS and live quite close to Hyde Hall so visit often. I love going there, the gardens are beautiful, the surrounding countryside lovely and some very quiet and peaceful areas to just sit and be. The two cafés are nice and serve very decent food and drink. It is a very calming environment whatever... More

Took some friends with us yesterday. This allowed them to join the RHS and my wife to get a £10 voucher....half of which spent on a plant before we left. We started with a quick coffee to revive us...really good coffee here. Then a walk through the gift shop...past the Chilli beer ( I will be back) and out to... More

Went with my wife and two grandchildren to visit this lovely place at the weekend and clearly there is a lot of praise that it rightly deserves, especially for the unbelievably soft and dark green lawn by the duck pond, but it does not have more than a basic child play area and on the whole it is not as... As a keen gardener, I'm a regular visitor to Hyde Hall. Obviously there's more to see and enjoy in the summer months. However, the quite pricey, admission charge is not reduced in the winter. As an RHS member this is not a problem, but someone coming just for the day in winter would be unable to gain access to various... More

Lovely grounds, great for walking. Improvements are providing added interest for children. Something different to see every season X Restaurant always has good food and the children's portions are generous and tasty. Worth having RHS membership if you plan to visit often so that you can just have a quick stroll or spend the day without spending too much. Nice... More

We went specifically so that our friend who is wheelchair dependent could join us in a late summer ramble. The access and welcome was good with v helpful staff. Paths were good and the plant associations were looking great. Lunch in the barn was fine but if im honest a bit elaborate. Had a lovely time and would recommend you... More
