Visited the Craft Fair at Hyde Hall and had time to take a walk around the fantastic gardens, a bit late for all the flowers but still plenty to see. Great location and we looked after. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a great day out. We've now visited all four RHS. Gardens and all are well tended.

A lovely place to spend a few hours wandering around. The gardens are constantly changing and beautiful to look at. The event days are also really good with lots of things to see and perhaps buy. The restaurants can get a bit busy but are lovely to sit in and have a good range of food and drinks. Lovely for... More

Well worth a visit as acres of land with flower gardens vegetable plots and more. Often have special activity weekends where it can get crowded.

My husband and I visited Hyde Hall Gardens with my father-in-law (aged 91), sister-in-law, brother-in-law and cousin who were visiting from Lincolnshire. I felt that £11 per person entry fee was quite high and if you think you may visit more than once it is definitely worth thinking about taking out annual membership. Positives were the ease with which we... More

We went to the flower show spread over four days in August, the gardens are continually being expanded, so there is lots to see. We were lucky because when we visited the weather was hot and dry. What made the event really special was that there was a male aCapella chorus entertaining us, it was a joy to hear them.

Exceptional at all times of the year, I love the spring flowers but the roses are lovely during the summer. Has two restraunts one at the entrance and another at the top of the estate. There is an electric buggy to take people up the hill who find difficulty walking. There are lakes, picnic tables and plenty of space for... More

The weather was gorgeous. The stalls were so good, selling a marvellous variety of plants and other interesting goods. Plenty of food stalls too. The only problem was the traffic-choked road into the grounds which took 45 mins. Worth the wait though.

Travelled on a beautiful hot end of summer day. Some of the gardens were past their best but the overall layout and feel of the gardens was good. Some stunning views around the lake and a variety of interesting garden areas, the dry garden, the Queen Mother's Garden etc. Well presented and with good paths for all, including those with... A lovely place to saunter around with well kept gardens to admire. The shop and cafe with seating outside you can enjoy a variety of foods, the shop had a lot of very interesting things to get as gifts . We found also they cater for older people with a pick up vehicle which helped to get my elderly dad... More
