Having already done Trapped in a Train online for my birthday, this time we did The Warp Core Part Two online (because a friend had done Part One) and it was great fun! There were four of us doing it and we were all on laptops but chatted via Zoom with cameras off. It's just so much fun and the closest you can get to truly escaping together right now. You get so engrossed and involved in the puzzles you have to solve that the time flies and you feel like you're really there. It's also great that you can all work separately on different tasks or together, so it feels like a real escape room. I think £15 is a bargain between 4 people (or more; you can have 6 I think!) and it's great that you can play as soon as you make the purchase...great for a last-minute bit of fun. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Clue HQ for keeping the fun alive and helping us escape virtually with friends in these difficult times!

I did the dungeon of doom escape room for my sons 13th birthday. We had a range of ages playing from 9 years to adult. We all had fun and found the escape room a very enjoyable and exciting experience. And yes we escaped with just 3 minutes to spare! Great fun and we will definitely be going back. You also get a photo sent to you included (mines on the way) so will upload that later. Great afternoon out and a must do!

This escape room is great fun, very varied puzzles and definitely appropriate for a mix off abilities. We booked Bunker 38 at the last minute and Paul responded to our enquiry and arranged a game for us quickly and without hassle. The game itself is in a fantastic setting, in a wooded area set back from the road alongside the Secret Nuclear Bunker and various military artefacts - tanks, trucks, etc., so the scene is set before you enter the premises. Once inside, everything is very professional and the game itself was brilliant fun with a good balance of tricky puzzles to build a sense of tension and enough quick elements to keep the game moving. Would highly recommend.

Went here recently as they had a special offer on the room. The room was basic, in fact I am not sure from the set up what the room was, if it was an office or a room in a house, just not sure. The decor needs to be more immersive to make you feel like you're actually in the place itself. The puzzles were ok but some were in need of updating as they were worn. Having done lots of escape rooms, I have never seen one where you have a video showing you how to do a puzzle and if you couldn't do it there was a way round to get the clue. This would tell me that most folk can't do that puzzle, so why not change it and make it doable without a video instruction. Also you had to go into another room to watch the video as the screen in the room wasn't working properly and kept cutting out. This room would be ok for those who haven't done escape rooms before. Not sure I would be overly happy had we paid £27.50 each for the room, as I've done others for around the same money that have been far better.

Bunker 38 was our first experience of an escape room and we absolutely loved it! We are a family of Mum, Dad and two teens, together we worked as a team and managed to escape with 1 minute 45 seconds to spare. We did need some clues from the game hosts but these were well timed and gave us just enough of a hint when we were stuck.
Highly recommended. We will definitely be back to try another game. Big thanks to our hosts Monty and Mia for being so welcoming and for providing just the right amount of support.

Our first time in an escape room but it won’t be our last - in fact we can’t wait to book again. We found this game to be thoroughly enjoyable and were completely engrossed throughout the whole time. With different types of clues to make you think, timely prompts and questions this experience exceeded expectation. Thank you Brandon for making this so enjoyable. We will be back.

The game was amazing, it was exciting, fun, challenging and we finished in a real high !
This was a fantastic family experience, staff were excellent and we would highly recommend a visit !

Waring Family - so great to hear your lovely review and that's certainly what people need after the stress of lockdown - ending on a real high and glad you found it special. It's been tough at times but reading lovely reviews like this makes it worthwhile Paul

Firstly I should start by thanking Paul for rebooking our cancelled Covid19 game into Detonation when he wasn’t planning to open that particular room up at the moment. In all honesty the customer service was what’s raised the game from a 4 star to 5 star review.

Many thanks to Harrison for running the game for us on the day , we were definitely a bit on the rusty side having not done an escape room since last summer . We escaped but with plenty of help!

Between the 4 of us , we have played approx 10 escape rooms , and this probably isn’t the most polished , however we spent a very enjoyable hour playing together, and at the end of the day that’s the most important thing .

This game is very lock heavy , but that’s fine . Our brains struggled with some of the puzzles but again it wouldn’t be much fun if it was a walk in the park .

Most importantly though I’m writing this review to encourage people to head back to Clue HQ as the guys need people through the door again. We have previously played Bunker38 here as well , so still a couple more rooms to try .

Glad I could accomodate you in our detonation room and that you had an enjoyable time. Takes a little while to get your brain back into this way of thinking. I managed to get a few remote escape games done from home during lockdown. We enjoyed some envelope games we bought from USA and we also have a number of the Hunt a Killer Games. As I recall you didn't fancy the Sacrifice game but you may want to consider it as it's fairly linear and this allows you to work on each puzzle as a group. Lots of people enjoy it. Paul

We had a great time at Clue HQ Brentwood playing Bunker 38. It was our kids (age 8 and 13) first escape room experience and they loved it, it was a great level for them to be fully involved in the escape. Our host was great and we really appreciated the flexibility as we booked at the last minute. Being near the site of the actual secret bunker also added something extra to this specific room. Over all a really fun experience, highly recommended.

Detonation - a really fun Escape challenge. Don't be put off by the small room, its harder than you'd think and keeps you on your toes. You need to work together and fast to win this challenge which we almost did! a team of 4 or 6 for this one is best - the more brains, the better.
A great challenge, really enjoyed it. Staff were enthusiastic and communication with Paul before the event was prompt and very helpful.
