We had a lovely visit to Hopefield today. It’s just the right size for young children. The animals are clearly very well looked after. Price is very reasonable, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. We will be back!

Great day out with the kids. Entrance fee goes to looking after the animals. Lots to see from horses to turtles, birds and snakes. Kids love learning about how the animals were rescued and being looked after.

The sanctuary itself is not too bad, but the facilities aren’t great. The cafe in particular is poorly run, vegan restaurant with limited choice. Very overpriced for what you receive and the waiting time was ridiculous. Told there was a 20 minute wait which was...More

Hi Tracy, Thanks for providing us with your feedback. Unfortunately our Tearoom Manager left a few days before we re-opened to the public, so the girls that are working in there are brand new and still getting their heads around everything. Sadly, the timing of...More

Enjoyable visit once again, last time I visited in the height of summer, so a very different visit today weather-wise but just as good today. It's the perfect size for a wander with kids. Tearoom is great too. Love the place.

I believe the website states that you may bring your dog on a leash, but I personally wouldn’t during the summer as the sanctuary gets very busy with people/children/prams. There are also free-running cats so please bear... More

Some of it is concrete paths and some of it is dirt paths. If the weather has been good and it’s dry you’d get around with a buggy fine, it’ll just be a little bumpy!
