Took my 2.5 year old daughter who loved it.
She was little overwhelmed at first but soon got into the swing of thing. She particularly loved the little train (went on it 5 times). The guy operating it was so much fun and got all the children excited, that guy needs to be awarded employee of the month !!!
The great thing about it is once you’ve paid to go in everything is free (apart food, drinks and a few mini games ).
One piece feedback, someone to supervise around the animal feeding stations as sons naughty children were throwing junk food and drinks into the pens etc

My 2 year old twins had a great day, there is so much to see and do. We arrived at 11am and stayed until 3pm. The rides are great all included in the price. It is quite expensive but when you get there you realise it’s money well spent.
Lots to do, several picnic benches so finding a place to eat and have a little rest is not a problem.
They have wash stations dotted around and the farm has a very good system in place. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too.!
The only thing I would say is the baby changing facilities could be better. This is the reason why I didn’t rate it 5 stars .
The room is tiny and the facilities are very basic. It could do with expanding to create more space. We found it very cramped and had to squeeze past a mother changing her child to get out. It’s not a big ask and I know the parents would really appreciate this especially as most the children (in nappies) visiting the park will need to pay a visit there. otherwise a Really lovely day out.

Thank you for taking the time out to write this review. We have noted your point about the change areas although we do have many around the farm (all different sizes)
We hope to see you soon!

A fantastic family day out! I'd recommend arriving for around opening time as we had a fun filled day getting around the whole park, which did take all day. I thought the park was excellent value for money, with 4 of us attending (2x Grandparents, 1x Toddler, 1x Adult) with plenty to do for all ages. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the farm and will certainly be returning again.

We just visited today as a family of 5 (2 adults, a 5 year old and 16 month old twins). Cost us £59 and the twins were free. This place is so so expensive for what it actually offers. Some rides and a soft play is included, which was a bonus for our 5 year old. Not much seating available so we were stood around while she played on the soft play.
What was disappointing is that every animal is either behind high brick walls or picket type fence (with an electric fence behind that) which made it impossible for any baby/child in a pram to see the animals through. The gaps were small, so trying to get a baby/babies to see the animals through that gap was basically impossible. Our 5 year old was able to look through the fence but because it’s such a pain to see any animals, it really didn’t hold her attention very long. You can’t touch or hand feed any animals so it’s a real dull walk around.
Every hour there was a “pet an animal”‘ type experience. We did pony, gecko, Pygmy hedgehog and rabbits. You can’t hold them, just stroke them for a minute or so.
We did the Easter egg hunt, the children got a decent sized chocolate bar.
Food and drink super overpriced so definitely bring a picnic. £3 for a small bottle of drink, £3.50 for a whippy ice cream cone.
All in all, we wouldn’t visit again or recommend to our friends and family, purely because views to the animals are so restricted for the little ones. Couldn’t really feed or stroke the farm animals. It was basically £60 for a walk around some gravel paths, a soft play and a few outdoor play areas with a couple of rides thrown in for good measure.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment and also sorry that we have lost your custom. OMD

Went to old McDonald’s farm with my three young grandchildren today. Sadly it rained a little bit in the morning but brightened up at lunchtime. we brought our grandchildren their lunch their chicken nuggets & chips burger & chips & jacket potato and cheese all the food was awful & stone cold and not good quality at all none of the grandchildren ate there lunch. It cost us £140.00 for entry lunch only for the three grandchildren drinks & an ice cream & we all thought it was awful all the grandchildren wanted to do was watch Disney films on our phones. They call it a farm not sure why with 2 deer 2 meerkats 2 otters 3 tortoises rabbits & a few sheep there were a few rubbish rides. It was really empty which says it all & most people were moaning & thought it was rubbish as well.

We are sorry to read this review. We are a small family run Business and we strive hard to provide a fun learning experience for everybody with a variety of animals, rides and other fun attractions across our whole site.
We do try to be very clear about what we have for our visitors to see and do.
Our grazing animals are occasionally moved to a smaller area for care, veterinary observation and to receive medication or treatment.
Nevertheless, we have taken your feedback on board and have passed it on to the relevant team members. OMD

Not really a farm… was expecting more animal interaction. We came with 4 years old and 17 months old. Only ride 4 year old wanted to go on (doggy ride) he wasn’t allowed on as he wasn’t 120cm tall. Similar rides we went on, you only gotta be around 1m tall. All in all overpriced for what it is, I would rather choose different farm, where you can actually interact with animals or zoo, like Wildlife paradise park instead.

Have just got back from the farm (it ain’t a farm) it’s 10% farm 10% zoo 80% adventure playground. Very disappointed had to pay £18 for a 2 year old who can’t go on all the rides. Can’t get close to any animals because of wire rope a metre back from the fences. I made a complaint and the manager Approached me very aggressively and then she told me to come to her office which was the size of a broom cupboard which I felt very uncomfortable in on my own with a women and the way she spoke to me was a joke her name was Ashley I believe. Then as I walked out to the entrance and gift shop of the farm she was still talking to me like I was something on the bottom of her shoe very disappointed with the whole experience and won’t be coming back again.

We had a lovely day here, this is our favourite farm to visit in the area. I will say as a single mum that it is quite expensive for entry and we can’t do it very often. If it was cheaper we would Visit more. Also at one of the cafe stalls near the tractor ride is very expensive , they Want £4.50 for a mint hot chocolate. Unless they’re picking the cocoa beans and adding fresh mint I won’t ever be buying a hot drink. They are far too expensive.

Thank you for the review. The cost of the entry is what we believe commercially is the price that represents our farm, however, all of the points have been noted and passed to the relevant decision makers. We hope to see you again. OMD

We visited old MacDonald’s Farm for the Christmas experience and it did not disappoint, the gingerbread trail was great fun meeting the elves along the different points and collecting clues.
the animals and rides were so much fun for Avery but the best part by far was definitely the amazing circus, it was so much fun. The acts where very talented my little boy was mesmerised and even my mother in law was giggling away to the clowns
The parks covid strategy is carefully planned out without it ruining your day so you and your family can feel safe
I really would recommend and can't wait to return in the spring, a great family day out

Had a fab day with 3 kids, 2x 4yr olds and 1x almost 2 years old.
They both enjoyed everything.
So much to see and do and love that all the rides are included in the price.
Small ques here and there for some of the bigger rides but no longer than 20mins
The magic show was a real bonus, luckily we stumbled across it as was tucked out of the way behind the park, near the spiderman climbing activity (look out for the red&white tent)
Brilliant entertainment!
Take some £1 coins and 50p as some smaller rides and animal food take coins.
Highly recommend going here for a fun family day out.

Prices vary, depending on when you go. It is cheaper in the afternoon. Prices for children aged 2-15 start from £8. Best to phone them.

As you are paying entry for adults and children I would not recommend for a rainy day as so much more to enjoy at the park if dry

Hi, there is a risk when being in direct contact with some animals - please only use advice from trustworthy sources so you can make an informed decision.
There is some information on the NHS website.
The following Google search 'nhs e coli advice sheep' generates useful information.*
I did try to attached the website details but TripAdvisor do not allow it.
