This is still a working lighthouse. You can climb up to the top and into the light chamber. The views are sensational and it is a very interesting and fascinating place to visit. One learns the history of lighthouses back to Henry VIII

You can, but there are usually tickets available on the door - however you may not get the time slot you want. Good value tour though :)

According to the website, 1100 - 1300 and 1400 - 1600 on the 24th and 25th August. Closed on 22nd and 23rd. You could phone 01255 245156 to check.
