What a delight, my wife and I spent a delightful 2 hours browsing the shops and brilliant and quirky arcade. The "rude" water clock is worth visiting on its own. Had a seat on the decking to enjoy the sights and a beer. Just delightful.......More

I always visit the pier when in Southwold. I remember when it was derelict and falling into the sea just 20 or so years ago. So it’s fantastic to see it restored and I love supporting it. The arcade is good fun as is the...More

Go on the “amusements” in the Under Pier Show. We had a really good couple of hours on the pier. They’ve really worked hard to bring the English pier experience into the 21st Century. Well done.

A lovely stroll on a sunny Saturday morning. It was quite bracing at the end but well worth the walk for such a super view. Lovely shops, coffee shops and restaurants along the pier too if you’re peckish.

The delightful and ridiculous amusement arcade is worth a visit. It’s bonkers, but very entertaining. The clock half-way along the pier should be seen on the hour or half hour. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. There’s a restaurant (very poor service), some shops,...More

Injustice - ITV (1 Replies)
Did anyone watch the new drama on ITV tonight called Injustice? The story is set in Suffolk and London and the series was filmed in various locations around Suffolk and London. I recognised Southwold pier and I think one of the boatyards at Woodbridge. Think another shot was at Orford. However I didn't recognise the train station which was supposed to be Ipswich and I can't place the location of the road leading up from the sea front with the beach huts behind. Was this Southwold as well?
