The viewing area at the Port of Felixstowe, is i fantastic place to just seat and watch the world go by, wondering how those massive ships stay afloat on the seas of the world. There is toilets and a cafe at the site too, Free parking.

The worse part of town with absolutely nothing to recommend as the only nice part of Felixstowe is away from the promenade towards the ferry and Pavillion Theatre Whole place is stuck in a 70s time warp

We enjoy coming down here to watch the world go by, we aren't boat enthusiasts but we like watching the comings and goings. The new cafe is always worth a visit, really really friendly staff and delicious food!

One day the docks are really quick the next day they seem to be on a go slow. Been coming here for 3 years now. The staff have always been friendly.

We were taken to the port by friends he drives lorries that operate from the port. Ther are good views of the coast line and of ships that are coming or going out plus watching the ships being loaded/ unlouded by the big cranes. A very interesting place to visit.

Interesting for all ages. Very busy port and you can find out about ships in the area. If cold you can sit in the car or the cafe and watch the ships.

You can see the Port of Felixstowe from the edge of Languard Point, and then walk round that point (or over it) right the way along the Promenade through Felixstowe and then eventually to Felixstowe ferry. Well worth it - all pretty easy walking now, although some bits not wheelchair friendly unless you divert via the road.

The Dock area has been redeveloped for the larger boats well worth a visit to the viewing point a bit of a twisty road to get in but worth it when you arrive and you can also visit the Museum while you are their
