Worth experiencing this really incredible place. It's huge with ship so large when full they defy logic and look like they should sink....... Take a walk up the beach to see large ships effortlessly ploughing threw the waves, whilst to your left is Langaurd fort and a nature reserve.

Always busy, nice place to watch the ships being loaded and unloaded and going in and out of the port. Good car park overlooking the port near Landguard Fort with a cafe to one side with good views.

The port deLicacies is Britain's largest container port with massive cargo boats being unloaded. Great viewpoint, car parking, picnic tables and a modern cafe to view from.

I visit the port once a month for business purposes and find the security very competent and a safe place to work.

With approximately 3,000 ships each year, including the largest container vessels afloat today visit this port. There is a viewing area close to the port complete with a café and a fort.

The size of the ships in the port of Felixstowe are MASSIVE. I was born in a sea port and have never seen them that size when in dock, yes have sailed past a few but oh my god they were massive.
